If it weren't for the music, art style, and Atkinson's voice acting, I wouldn't find this series amusing at all.
It just doesn't add up to the original, in my opinion, the humor is too mundane and childish (even if it is a cartoon), and lacks the proper timing that makes the original series so hilarious no matter how many times you watch it.
