theres a quest where you rescue a stormcloak from a thalmor fort. they all wear expensive glass armour and carry glass weapons :). so make sure you bring the wheelbarrow aka lydia to get the loot home
i killed them all single handed and didnt even drink a potion that was on master diff so i dont get what people think is so hard about them :/
stormcloaks are little bit rayciss :( but only against non humans. lets face it elves are fugly in skyrim not like the hot elves from lotr, these are ugly fucking creatures with green faces and beady eyes, they look more like goblins. in fact the falmer are elves.

I like the fact that all of skyrim is uniting under the stormcloaks but the stormcloaks army isnt strong enough to take on thalmor or anything really, nor is the imperial army. I wish the imperials had just stayed out and not tried to take skyrim so that the stormcloaks couldve brought peace and then became allies with the empire so they could defeat the thalmor. In a nutshell, skyrim belongs to nords, the empire owns what they own, and screw the thalmor.

Once, I was having a casual conversation with Esbern in his crib in the Ratway, when some random Thalmor guy just runs in and attacks me (even though my character is an Altmer). He killed me before I could even tab out of the convo lol
I have just finished the last stormcloak mission, and the stormcloaks have taken control so far. Now since finishing the last mission Ulfric has told me that there is nothing to do for now, and just to keep doding what im doing for now, you know exploring. My question is- Do you get to fight the empire and the thalmore later on in the game, to truly free skyrim? Or will that battle against the empire come out in a game sequel to skyrim?

I think that the first DLC for Skyrim should be the following. IF you joined stormcloaks, the thalmor attack skrim and attempt to take control of it. IF you joined the imperials, the thalmor stab you in the back and try to take skyrim anyways. OR you could join the thalmor and take skyrim for them (although I dont see why you would want to do that lol). Who agrees that this would be a awesome idea for the first DLC?
A lot of people probably think this is lame but I think the first DLC should be that you can play an instrument if you graduate the Bard's College. I think that would be epic!

also you can loose the war on either side to the thalmor so if imperial you can lose the great war the the empire is destroyed and if stormcloak the thalmor successfully takes over skyrim.

I'm an Imperial who stuck with his Imperial executioner during the destruction of Helgan, who joined Imperial Legion and defeated the Stormcloak rebellion before ever climbing the 7,000 steps to High Hrothgar, who wipes out the remaining Stormcloak camps on sight, and who kills every Thalmor he sees.
My oath to the Emperor doesn't supersede my oath to man kind. The pointy-eared menace will rue the day it crossed us.

@lololololol47 The Empire must kneel for the time being, but the races of men rebound from ravages of war more quickly than those of mer. The Thalmor know this and thus seed dissension within the Empire to buy time. The Empire kneels today in order to stand taller tomorrow.
The Legion may have to weather the presence of the Thalmor and I may be part of the Legion, but my role as Dragon Born luckily affords me certain level of independence, allowing a bath in elven blood from time to time.
If I could I would challenge the entire Admeri Domini to try to kill me. They won't stand a chance with my 354 dmg enchanted daedric warhammer and daedric armor with a crap load of potions. And when they finally beg finally beg for mercy I will order them to leave skyrim or face anhillation
@mrROFLmaster12345 The Thalmor run from me after my first swing. I recently freed a stormcloak prisoner out of boredom and want to kick some elven ass and I ended up spending more time chasing fleeing High Elves than actual fighting. I know I'm a legend encased in the bones and skin and filled with the very souls of the dragons I've slain and that I wield weapons forged from the organs of devilish creatures from other planes of reality, but I think the game is simply stroking my ego now.
ive this problem with the NPC:s: if u spawn stromcloack 2 handed soldiers and then 2 handed imperial soldiers they wont fight each other :( why not? is there some code to make them fight each other? :D
Though I am of Altmer heritage, I do not share the cruelty my brothers have committed. Every being has the right to worship any god. Skyrim is a land of freedom, and the Thalmor are a threat to that.

I don't know if I should choose Lydia now, or the dog. Lydia is less annoying but won't stand a chance and the talking dog is bad company.

@PapaCrazy1983 My strategy is to take them out one at a time. The longer they outnumber you, the quicker you die. I use Ward + 1h melee. It's highly effective against them.

A god-like dragon threatens to destroy the world, there's a civil war going on which makes things difficult, there's a mages tower, and only one character can truly finish off the dragon...Both games are alot alike :O

I have just finished the last stormcloak mission, and the stormcloaks have taken control so far. Now since finishing the last mission Ulfric has told me that there is nothing to do for now, and just to keep doding what im doing for now, you know exploring. My question is- Do you get to fight the empire and the thalmore later on in the game, to truly free skyrim? Or will that battle against the empire come out in a game sequel to skyrim?

I think that the first DLC for Skyrim should be the following. IF you joined stormcloaks, the thalmor attack skrim and attempt to take control of it. IF you joined the imperials, the thalmor stab you in the back and try to take skyrim anyways. OR you could join the thalmor and take skyrim for them (although I dont see why you would want to do that lol). Who agrees that this would be a awesome idea for the first DLC?

if you become a stormcloak the thalmor try to take over skyrim
also you can loose the war on either side to the thalmor so if imperial you can lose the great war the the empire is destroyed and if stormcloak the thalmor successfully takes over skyrim.

I'm an Imperial who stuck with his Imperial executioner during the destruction of Helgan, who joined Imperial Legion and defeated the Stormcloak rebellion before ever climbing the 7,000 steps to High Hrothgar, who wipes out the remaining Stormcloak camps on sight, and who kills every Thalmor he sees.
My oath to the Emperor doesn't supersede my oath to man kind. The pointy-eared menace will rue the day it crossed us.

@lololololol47 The Empire must kneel for the time being, but the races of men rebound from ravages of war more quickly than those of mer. The Thalmor know this and thus seed dissension within the Empire to buy time. The Empire kneels today in order to stand taller tomorrow.
The Legion may have to weather the presence of the Thalmor and I may be part of the Legion, but my role as Dragon Born luckily affords me certain level of independence, allowing a bath in elven blood from time to time.

I recently freed a stormcloak prisoner out of boredom and want to kick some elven ass and I ended up spending more time chasing fleeing High Elves than actual fighting. I know I'm a legend encased in the bones and skin and filled with the very souls of the dragons I've slain and that I wield weapons forged from the organs of devilish creatures from other planes of reality, but I think the game is simply stroking my ego now.

@PapaCrazy1983 My strategy is to take them out one at a time. The longer they outnumber you, the quicker you die. I use Ward + 1h melee. It's highly effective against them.

A god-like dragon threatens to destroy the world, there's a civil war going on which makes things difficult, there's a mages tower, and only one character can truly finish off the dragon...Both games are alot alike :O
