  • WOW!!!! that's all I've been able to say..... this is TRUE TALENT!!! these SOB's can truly play and that guy can truly sing....OMG!! WHAT A VOICE!!! they sound just like the actual recording.... WOW!!!

  • Thanks for this, it is WICKED

  • A TREMENDOUS live version of this song... Stapp's vocals are spot on. F'ing awesome.

  • So this death metal guy tells me Stapp is the worst thing that happened to music and that he sounds like a goat. This is coming from a guy that does pig squeals right? Hand-in-hand? Creed gets no credit nowadays because people believe what you tell them and have only heard "Higher". "Children with no vision do exactly what they've told". Creed? Fuck yes.

  • MAN THIS IS WHEN HIS VOICE WAS IN HIS PRIME.......DAMN,I get goose bumps listing to this, soooo powerful...Love you Scott..What a god's gift...mmmmmmm :)

  • What a rare find. Awesome Vid....Scot sounded soooo good!

  • @mustangpatty51 yea ik scott can rlly sing i love scott stapp even if peoples say he drinks so wat he cn sure sing

  • aww I wish the sound quality was a little better on this video. Stapp sounded sooooo good back in the day :c.

  • Thanks for uploading this!!! :)

Nice Tremonti's Gibson Gold Top anyway!!!

  • Stapp sounds amazing ..thats awesome

  • full of shit about what?

  • damn stapp could really sing... like cd quality

  • wow old! awesome to see

  • when was this song made

sounds like disturbed remember mixed with disturbed stupify

its blatant...one ripped off the other

  • dude this was in 99ish, Disturbed did notProxy-Connection: keep-alive

    Cache-Control: max-age=0

0come out until 2000.And i dont hear the resemblence whatsoever. This is completely toned down, waaay down more than both of those songs and the beat isnt even close to being the same. So idk maybe youre%

  • haha disturbed wrote the songs for the 2000 release of sickness in 1998

the beat has nothing to do with it

my comparison is strictly on the guitar riff which at times is identical

  • still dont hear the similarity in the two...i guess its just a matter of opinion

  • Ill put it this way... I dont know the tabs to say I

but knowing how to the play the 2 disturbed songs I know made it easy to play both of these songs because of the similarity.

  • this was before disturbed...and its not blatant either way you moron. different keys, different progressions, melodies. stop posting comments

  • if you read other posts on this video you would have found out that this was after disturbed.

  • stapp sounds so much better her than now

  • one way to find out bro. Cant wait to see em live

  • i mean....had a chance to grow while being away from each other and improve on their singing/playing skills.

  • I'm most worried about Stapp's voice now. I really hope he hesn't blown his voice, because at one point it sounded like he had. Listening to him singing the national anthem at champs bowl on here though, he showed that when he reached the higher notes he might still have it.

  • scott never sang properly...you could even hear it on the studio versions of songs like higher

any voice specialist would tell him that if he kept singing that way that his voice would go out.

If you watch them on vh1 its confirmed that he has lost his voice

  • I got the Mark tremonti video that just came out and I was watching him. one thing very true about him is his serious practicing. He has definitely improved and that cant be argued. Im curious what hell do if creed des continue on with an album for their comeback tour. I think people will really be surprised by what stapp and tremonti can do now that they have grown apart from each other.

  • Love this song.

  • CREED is one of my favorite band....it's such a pity that they broke up....tsk..

  • Dude , they reunited and are finishing up a new CD and are embarking on a summer tour !!!!

  • really....that's a good news dude....btw thnx 4 telling me....CREED AGAIN WILL ROCK OUR WORLD....

  • yea nd thats y im goin to see them sunday!! lol

  • The best voice ever !!!

Stapp tá imbatível, pena que a qualidade de áudio não está muito boa. :(

  • You can definitely see the Doors' influence in this video.

  • And I never understood why Tremonti never did solos in creed considering how good of a guitarist he is. Just a though

  • he told a guitar magazine in an interview back in December of 2005 that he couldn't solo very well back in the Creed days... thats a fact, not an opinion...:D

  • i always thought he didnt have a problem with soloing, but it was just Creeds musical style that limited him on doing it

  • well, not quite right...:D cuz look in the Weathered album he had a solo in Stand Here With Me... And he wrote all music in Creed; as the years passed he became better and better... If Creed would of put out a 4th album by 2004-2005, I'm pretty sure there'd be guitar solos... Cheers...:D

  • no dude, steve is right. Listen to both Alter Bridge albums and he, at least, has 6 solos in the whole album, not 2 like in the creed days. And yes. creed was holding him back.

  • So "that well" was what he said, not that he couldnt. And by his standards, not "that well" would still be good! He really should have written more solo's in Creed and included the intro's he wrote for songs like "what's this life for?"...a great bit of fingerpicking.

  • doesent really matter if hes a great soloist or not hes an awesome rythum player, and was the rythum and soul of creed

  • Actually its not a fact that he still couldn't have written decent solo's in Creed, he could have. He actually said in that interview firstly that it "didn't fit into the Creed format, and, to tell you the truth, back when we started Creed I couldn't even solo that well". Creed was started in '95 I think and the first album was '97. But proof for all of us that Tremonti could solo to a reasonable standard should be "pity for a dime"....some very strong shred technique in that song indeed.

  • the first alter bridge record was pre-written by him even before miles kennedy was "official".Miles started contributing on the second cd, that's one reason why there is such a huge difference in sound....Anyways, the first album by alterbridge had awesome solos and wouldve if creed was still together..Patrick said it right...tremonti has gotten better and better and hence the improved playing and sound by him. Thats what 6 hours a day practice does i guess.

  • Yes but on the first Alter Bridge record he could do what he wanted, which is part of the reason he split from Creed...a lot of his musical ideas were left out. I agree he's got better, of course he has, however he still had very good technique in the Creed days which he was restricted from showing....a good example is the beautiful finger picked intro to what's this life for he plays in some of the live videos but had to drop from the record.

  • A large part of why Mark didn't solo much was because there was no rhythm guitarist to back him up. In AB he has Myles to do that. This problem will (hopefully) be fixed on the new tour since a touring rhythm guitarist has been confirmed. So hopefully that means Mark will shred more now. Extended solos FTW!

  • Im goin!!!!

  • How'd you get ahold of this?

  • Someone uploaded it on google videos somewhere and I downloaded it from there
