I love C.H.U.D.! It's one of my favorite Horror movies from the 80's! My Brother and I would watch this film all the time back in the day. There's just something cool about inner city, 1980's sleaze cinema!

Now, I will admit I've not seen the movie, but I don't understand the title. Cannibalistic is referring to the fact that they're eating humans, but humanoid implies that they aren't human. Therefor, they're not cannibalistic... Unless of course they're eating other CHUDS, in which case, who gives a shit if they're cannibalistic?

@avrilfourteenth I don't think the producers of this movie put that much thought into it! You're trying to find some logic in an 80s monster movie. These were low budget, slap together productions that were just kind of churned out for the trash cinema buffs. These were the kind of movies you'd go see with your friends and just goof on the whole time. NO one involved, from the film-makers to the audience, took it too seriously. It was a different time with a different vibe. It was just for fun.

Love this movie! The synthesizer score is awesome,works for this movie! There is some great acting in this from Daniel Stern and Christopher Curry etc.and the part "Gog and Magog......with eyes in front and behind..." The sewer scenes are eerie with the synth music. I laugh at the silly shower scene (plugged drain part).I heard someone wanted to do a remake but I will say this,not everyone may agree but,I WILL BE REALLY PISSED OFF IF THEY USE COMPUTER GRAPHICS FOR THE C.H.U.D.S CG RUINED SCIFI
