I remember getting cut off by a metro bus heading home from work on Northgate Way. I don't usually ride on the road in that area because (as of recently) I got hit by a car there and before that have had my share of hits and misses by cars down that stretch of roadway. But this dude flew by me INCHES away from my left elbow. At that time I wound up using the road because the sidewalk there was getting a construction makeover.
I got cut off really bad by Seattle metro bus going home from work on Northgate way. That is one area that I NEVER EVER ride in a car lane because I know how dangerous that whole road in and around Northgate Mall is. So I take the sidewalk instead. This metro bus,not only did he cut me REALLY CLOSE to my left side, we was going WAY too fast as well. That was the only time I had to use the car lane because the sidewalk was getting a road makeover.
@Mellow888Mood Thats not a "stupid thing" to not worry about. Heck even drivers know not to cut other drivers because it can lead to fatal accidents and even worse than that.
@Olgalevin84 yeah but he had enough room to turn. he wasnt really cutting you off and iff i fall from a small step it can kill me to but do you see me videotaping myself while i take that step?
@Mellow888Mood The camera is mounted to her handle bars. She's not holding it while riding. Some cyclists have started to invest some money in camera's like the Contour or the Hero camera not to just tape themselves but to use it as evidence should anything happen to them while out on the road. And do you mean that the cyclist had enough room to turn or the bus? I'm a little confused by that.
