I don't know for something with the lifght weight of a dirt bike, and a traction of a quad I say thats pretty good. The only thing your sacrifing with a 3 wheeler is stability, and before you say it let me guess "your sacrificing your dignity. " I"m a pretty good quad racer, but my ass got smoked by a TPC 450 trike.

trx400ex's are kinda slow you can adjust the engine and top out at about 65 but the predator 500 tops out 80 stock and with a racin pipe i got mine goin bout 85-90mph range

yes, correct, you can adjust them to go much faster via sprocket tooth changing. the downside is that your torque is killed when you do this. i am buying an ltr450 in a few months, and i will have the sprockets adjusted for it to top out at 50, that way i will have tons of torque (not like i wont already) but anyways, my brother didnt actually get a trx400ex, he took it back and got a 2007 ltz400. i like it alot better

lol no. i raced a predator with smaller gearing (more top speed) it had big gun exhuast renthal sprockets, and pirrelli tires, my kx 450f, with fmf powerbomb header and 4.1 silencer and bunch of other goodies, also my gearing was 13Front - 51 rear i beat him on start and still went 10mph faster than him, also a pipe doesnt make it go another 10 mph, 4 or 5 at most AT MOST. ps, the quads gearing was 12front by 41 rear. so dont try that fill165.

your first should be a 4 stroke ...5'8 ummm225 i would choose a honda im 14 my first bike was in 07 xr 100 im moving next to 200 yah crf250 which is a honda would be best...a 2 stroke is too poweful for a beginner on a 250..if u want a 2 stroke a crf 150 2stroke would be good for.start off small but not too small

No, if your asking first you should start small and a yz250 would probably rape you up the but the second you give it gas. Too many people dirt bikes are just some slow motorcycles for little kids too play on but the yz250 is a pro racing MX bike.

yz 250 has way to much power if ur starting of, not kidding, experienced riders are sometimes struggling to handle that, but a 125 would be a good choise, and dont listen to the guy who say 65cc, cuz they are bike for 10 year old kids
