  • I like it.

  • i think the amp sounds great it's probably the camera mic if anything that's letting it down. good harp playing good amp thanks for letting us see it

  • I'm with rbeetsme. Good playin' just dont care for the tone of the amp. Thanks for sharing with us though.

  • I don't care for the mic tone... But nice playing!

  • I agree. To me, this amp gets great tube break up but is too bright. The mic in the video is a mid 50's Astatic 151 element. Mic's with bigger bottom end would be better matched with this amp, as bright as it is.

  • I wouldn't be throwing the amp out in a hurry. Great playing and I can HEAR that this is an amp I could make work for me with a favourite mic. The tone's there and I'm sure it would CUT with a band as opposed to some amp with too much compressed bass and mid, which would get lost.

  • Decent playing, amp is pretty cold, does nothing for me. Tube swap? Origianl 12AX7's?

  • I have never had the amp serviced, so am sure many tubes have been replaced and it could sound better. Also, the speaker have been replaced and not with what I consider ideal harp speakers. The room is carpeted so kind of a "dead" sounding room. Still, of the vintage amps I have, this one sounds fairly warm to me. Perhaps you can post a video of yourself with what you consider a hot amp and good playing. I would love to hear it.

    Thanks

  • Rockin tone!
