  • wonderfull ..

  • A salamoe 3alijkoem sister,

I have a question.. I have tried this at home but it felt like I had to much on my head, maby because the satin fabric i had was a little bit thick.

Don't get me wrong it looks beautifull! and maby i just did it wrong.

But is there a way were it can look as beautifull as this one but less fabric on the head?

    Wa 3alijkoem salaam

    Greetings from Holland

  • Oh my gosh...I'm not sure I can do this.

  • @emz490 thanks..been checking out the site..

  • assalamu wa alaykum hermanas

cada vez que trato de ver estos videos no se puede , i dont know why

  • that is sooo pretty !! Thanks for the tutorial, I like love it !!

  • Salam, Amena. I enjoyed this tutorial but I had a thought about the extra veil you attached after the Hijab. I think that the lace piece could have been used as the veil, maybe a less busy pattern and white. All of those pieces seems a bit too much, and maybe the bride will feel very uncomfortable. If possible I think the bride shouldn't have to sacrifice being comfortable on her wedding day. Can you please do elegant hijab styles with less material....Please! :)

  • beautiful mashallah. laminated paper was a good idea :)

  • Masha'Allah sis u're so sweet.

You're well creative aswell consider that a special gift.

Jazaki'Allah khair for the upload however I'm sure it's really time-consuming for someone like me to get the Hijab right.

    Salamu 'Alaikum

  • I guess I can live vicariously through my daughters insha Allah when they get married & wear a wedding gown with hijab...

  • I wish I had worn a hijab at my wedding. I wasn't covered yet back then, now I see it can be very beautiful. Also, cuz now I can't (or don't want to) show my wedding videos cuz I'm not covered in it. I want another wedding with hijab!!! lol jk

  • im buying this underscarf sooon!!! and hopefully will b able 2 pull this off :D

  • MAGICAL!!!!

  • u know that's wonderful :)

but there is alot of step to do

u didn't show how to wear the first scarf the one has a flower????

    thanks and googl luck

  • Hello Amena, I was just wondering if these scarves are rectangular or square. Would it work with a square hijab if you used a rectangular hijab?

  • @razieh9; I don't think it would work with a square hijab. I've used a piece of satin fabric as I couldn't find even a rectangular hijab that was suitable. The size of this fabric is in the annotations in the vid

  • Hey Amena,

Are you wearing the "deep cream" or the "sandy dreams" underscarf here?

    Thanks hun.

  • @lollie5073... hey sweetie, it's 'deep cream'

  • I love ur videos there so creative... That's absolutely gawjess and beautiful and u look stunning!! Would you be able to make a tutorial for a quick, easy, plain and simple hijab that doesn't hav many layers of scarfs. :) jazzakallah

  • @reshmaB94... thank you... and yes, a very simple one is coming up next :o)

  • how did u learn this stuff? i cud neverrr be bothered to do things like that

  • a very beautiful style.. Was wondering what date you are going to open your website and what is your website going to be called. thank you.

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [ mashallah ]

  • sis, this is absolutely beautiful. the only thing is that if you've got chubby cheeks these 'behind the neck' styles kinda accentuate the chimpmunk cheeks lol. do you think you could do more 'face framing' styles? I just discovered you channel and would very much appreciate it. May Allah reward you for your efforts and i'm very sure you've inspired many girls to love/try the hijab so may all those blessings be yours.

    -sister from toronto, canada

  • @malikaaa5... lol I just thought you wrote I've got chubby cheeks! I totally understand what you mean about accentuating the cheeks - you could pin the scarf under the chin instead of putting it behind the ears. I put it behind the ears in this in case the bride would want to wear earrings & also because a lot of people request party/bridal styles with room to wear earrings. J'A for your dua's and I hope you find these videos beneficial, i'A.

  • This is a beautiful style I would love to see a more simple bridal hijab style also using the bridal "veil."

  • WoW! Mashallah love this tutorial!

    xox

  • great idea about the laminated thingie lol wow pretty inventive ..love the concept but its abit too busy for me .. would love to see a few move simpler ones ... love ur tutorials tho xxxx

  • Thanks. Few things are simple/easy when it comes to most Bridal attire/ anything wedding-related.

  • wow great effort !

what is the website for this stash shop thingy ?

  • mashallah..sisterr wallahi i love u ..for the sake of allah.

    ur awesome mashallah.

thank u 4 ur wonderful video

    From Canada!

  • @chick1800... you're welcome sweetie, I hope that it proves to be useful to you and others :o) Spread the love!

  • waw love it mashaAllah

  • wow masha Allah

  • Its really awesome. Some interesting tutorials for Indian wedding as well

  • Whoa maybe I'll look at this...something years from now lol when I get married iA, but it's really beautiful! Thanks for sharing :)

  • you're welcome!

  • how do u remember those pins lol

  • Assalom sister. They do sell those plastic things at Islamic clothing stores, or you can just get a shirt that has a sturdy shirt collar and take the sturdy part out and use that.

  • wa 'alaikum as-salaam, sister. Thank you for the suggestion. I believe you can also buy the 'boning' at haberdasheries - I just wasn't able to get out and buy one that day lol

  • Love it!! Mashallah! I love your creativity ^_^

    xx

  • this is such a great idea must recommend to any brides in the future...

  • Salaam sis, where do you get the floral underscarves from?

  • wa alaikum as-salaam, sister. I swiped the underscarf from my website stash :o)

  • this is sooo pretty!! im gnna try it out now :D xx

  • Omg, keep this vid up until i get married. this is golden. its wht ppl r looking 4, when they search for hijabi wedding dresses. lol

    jazakkallah kair

  • I'm glad it helped! Thank u for your du'a :o)

  • Ur welcome;)

but its still like 5years till i get married so not happening anytime soon. lol

    Jazakallah kair ya amena.lol;)

    but is very nice maschallah

    :)

  • I am so gonna do this for my wedding! Though, not too voluminous. It's still very beautiful.

  • Amena, where do you get your bonnets with flowers on them? xx

  • I swiped the underscarf from my website stash :o) Can u believe my hubby ordered it? A man with good underscarf taste haha...

  • Not bad for a bloke...! When are we going to be able to buy them? Inchallah you will find it beneficial! XXXX

  • @lollie5073... this Friday, if all goes to plan, i'A. Make du'a it goes smoothly :o)

  • you look lovely masha Allah. where do you get the flower bits?

  • thank you! I think you can buy fabric flower bits from haberdasheries :o) The flowers on my underscarf are attached to it so I didn't have to buy them separately

  • U look gorgeous MashAllah

    thanks for the ideas

  • nice

  • as always very creative and very inspiring.

thank you so much Amena, you look like a beautiful bride ma'shallah :)

i think this is a great tutorial to pass on for every bridesmaid to learn so that she can apply on the bride, also with different colors and maybe less details it would make an awesome fancy tutorial for someone "attending" the wedding.

  • I totally agree. With fewer folds (not even necessarily different colours, as long as the outfit isn't bridal-y), and minus the veil, this would be perfect for a wedding attendee, or even bridesmaids - would look lovely on bridesmaids, with different coloured satin etc...

  • Now, if only i had this before my white wedding lol. At the time i wasn't sure how to wrap the long rectangular hijabs..and well, it's on FB. I don't know what to say about it. Fab tut and again v.creative : ]

  • @Butterfly2729... sorry sister, I've forgotten your name - what is it? I'll check them out on FB :o)

  • No probs its Michelle V... it'll be in the Trinidad ablum ;)

  • You look like a queen!!! :-)

Great idea, everything is perfect as usual...where did you find such a beautiful flower ?

  • @ChokoJazz... aw thank u! The flower is attached to the underscarf

  • wow, thats interesting, i thought it`s not together. anyway the effect is amazing.

  • argh!! where were you 5 months ago! lol

  • Salam sis, when is your website, meddea/pearldaisy up and running? I'm *really* looking forward to buying. I've finally created a paypal account too lol :)) btw, great tutorial :))

  • Another one here looking forward to your online store, that dress/top your wearing is gorgeous :)

  • lol you can't see on here but I'm actually wearing a long white wedding dress.
