People perverted that for their own purposes and people came to this country for religious freedom. This Treaty, negotiated by Ben Franklin and John Adams among others, is truly a foundational document for the U.S, because by this Treaty Britian recognized the independence of the United States. The Treaty begins with the words, "In the Name of the most holy and undivided Trinity... ," and there is no dispute about its validity or its wording.
You have a good point, however, keep in mind that the treaty ended the Revolutionary War and that the Constitution did not come into being until 4 years later. When the Treaty of Tripoli was made, it was using the language of an established American government and not that of a federation of separate colonies as was the case under the Articles of Confederation.
You never have seperation of church and state. I can't recall a modern president that was not attched to religion. It seems like a false concept to me. Atheist, secular they are nothing more than religous belief. They just put there motivation elsewhere. The good book would be a pretty good way to run this country at this point, not these fake people.

2ND PART: I personally observe that your approach to every one working towards one does leave holes abused by various cultures and visa programs. And lacks facts as to no other religion played a greater part of shaping the minds that wrote The Constitution.

Good video. Well balanced leaving a lot to interperetation. I think all would a gree that a Theocracy would not be a good thing. However whenever one addresses the Fathers letters, court sessions, Congressional meeting, these things have the name of God spewed all over them. I think they were trying to not endorrse a National Funded Church, to prevent the perversion of Religion for the sake of power. I do not think this means throw the word God off of everything in Public. Thats actually Marxist

Thomas Paine is truly the founding grandfather of the USA.
Without his pamphleteering there may not have been a revolution.
Without his "Crisis Papers" the revolution may have failed.
He coined the term "The United States of America."
He was for the abolition of slavery before the war of independence.
He was instrumental in the French Civil War.
He stuck by his principles in the aftermath of the French Civil War knowing it might lead to his death.
