  • Oh hello! Have you thought about - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my cooworker got detailed Six pack abs and lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • If God meant for us to eat everything raw he would not have given us the idea to create fire. Don't get me wrong. I love raw green smoothies all day long. For the sake of digestion cook the lentils and beans. It is enjoyable to eat them cooked and God meant for us to have SOME joy. Eating all raw cold foods is pretty damn boring. Right now I am eating some hot lentil and yellow pea patte with organic salsa, cilantro, onions, ginger, garlic, red pepper and sea salt. Heavenly.

  • Wow it's really fine.

  • Why would you want to eat everything raw anyway? The human body is not made for raw food only. Don't get me wrong, I love raw food, I juice every day with loads of raw superfoods, but nobody takes my cooked meals away from me. Even if you would want to go raw completely, you need to give your body a lot of time to adjust to your new diet, you can't just overnight change everything.

  • I'm still confused - how is cooking lentils & beans considered raw? want to know how to incorporate in raw foods diet but not sure how w/out cooking ...Thanks for your info! Look forward to your response :)

  • How come no one discovered DietOramy fat loss program program? I was randomly hammering Google and came across it - I have to admit it is actually the very first fat loss program program that I have sampled that doesn't make me feel often famished, and I'm still losing extra load.

  • Pythagoras the Samian, son of Mnesarchos, said that the monad is god, and that nothing has been brought into being apart from this. He was wont to say that wise men ought not to sacrifice animals to the gods, nor yet to eat what had life, or beans, nor to drink wine.(Saint Epiphanus).

We agree beans in any mode have not place in the raw vegan food regime.

  • I think you are awesome. When I was thinking of becoming a Raw Foodist I watched some of your videos and they really inspired me. I am now 3 months high raw and I feel great! Thank you.

  • So what's the stove for if you don't eat anything cooked??

  • @Lamorachik funny, I thought the same thing.

  • @mattstaloc Funny thing..I think MOST homes or apt's COME with ovens BUILT in........that doesn't mean she's utilizing it.

  • @mattstaloc

    I agree.

  • @Lamorachik

Tea? It's raw food, not raw drink ;)

  • I have never had even the slightest problem eating raw sprouted lentils and chickpeas but I would not eat any other raw bean.

  • why do you talk with so much saliva in your mouth?

  • @zjaz10 she just needs a vonschtuker in her mouth regularly Das all >_< SWOLE!!

  • I criticized you once for not knowing what many of us have gone through with our healing because you are young etc. Although this may be true, I think after listening to you again, that you have a pretty good knowledge of food and I commend you for your work. Keep it up.

  • Does that mean that eating beans and drinking orange juice or any other type of fruit juice (even all-natural juice) isn't such a smart idea?

  • Maybe beans and legumes were meant to be cooked....and should be the only exceptions to cooking for the raw foodists. I love your videos and can't wait for my excalibur to arrive so that I can try your coconut/mango/lime fruit leather!

  • Maybe beans and legumes were meant to be cooked....and should be the only exceptions to cooking for the raw foodists.

  • @markpianoman this is how i see it! cooking beans is not bad. just cook em and eat em. I am a raw foodie, but some raw beans even as sprouts are noticeably toxic so let's just cook em : )

  • A couple of quick points. First, some beans should never be eaten raw, sprouted or otherwise. Red kideny beans being a prime example. They are toxic, not just difficult to digest. Sprouted legumes can include lentils, mung beans and chickpeas. Raw unsprouted legumes contain antinutrients such as hemagglutinins and trypsin inhibiters that can block starch and protein absorptions. Soaking these and sprouting them removes much of the antinutrients.

  • I tried three times to eat soaked lentils and beans without sprouting and it made me throw up lol

  • Yea, I have tried 3 times to sprout chickpeas and each time I made a raw hummus (which tasted ok) but each time, I never really had much beyond that first day because it made me feel so gassy. Not good. Dont think I will do that again. I switched over to a zucchini hummus. Thanks Natasha!

  • Thanks Natasha I stay away from Beans unless I cook them

  • I soak and sprout mung beans and I seem to digest them fine. They are delicious raw :)

  • i've read that lentils, mung beans and adzuki beans are fine raw. i had the first two raw and they were pretty good

  • I don't enjoy the sprouted chickpeas, but it's not because of digestion, I just don't care for the texture. I have to say, though, the idea of eating sprouted lentils with fruit makes me ill just thinking about it. Don't know how this person came up with that idea. A simple tasty salad, for those who can eat sprouted lentils: toss them with a little olive oil and lemon juice, and a few snipped chives or green onions. That said, I eat them every now and then, they aren't a diet mainstay.

  • Interesting. We're all different of course. I have always loved cooked legumes like limas and blackeye peas. I started eating them as a tiny little girl. When I got older, I was introduced to chickpeas in mediterranean food, and still later lentils in Indian dahl. Maybe it's because I've always eaten legumes and do fine with them, but I have no problems eating sprouted legumes. I was munching away on sprouted lentils earlier this evening, and enjoying them.

  • Hey Natasha ..; I have a friend who is healing from PCOS. She is concerned about some excessive hair growth ... not cool on a girlie girl. do you think you can even reverse that???

    thanks! Your RAWSOME!
