I respect every singer who sang this lovely song but the way farhad jan done it is amazing with his lovely voice. i heard and watched another version with piano his voice volume is too low and the instrument volume is alot higher than his voice i like this version more than the piano version i would blame those poor sound engineers with their poor recording studio who created a messy stuff.

great song, who cares whom the song belonged to? I love hearing it re-made and passed down for generations. Im sure ahmad zahir and every other singer who sang it would LOVE for people to keep the song alive. Most afghan songs are remade and resang, no big deal!! its beautiful to pass down traditional music. New music is great, but so are the classics. :)

He obviously does not claim this song to be his own original work when everybody knows it isn`t Since he doesn`t claim the song to be his own, this means he is not "copying" Ahmad Zahir's song.
