Hi. I think this video is great. I've only recently started using Excel in work, and I'm learning quick enough, but not as fast as I would like to becasue I don't have good grounding on the basics. You mention your basics class a bit. Could you tell me where I could find that please? Thank you for this amazing resource!

Hi, Mike. I was wondering why do you like to hear excell talking to ya. I mean that talk enter button we usually hear in your fantastic videos?

It remainds me to a movie "games of war" where a clever young guy hacked a military defence program and chalenge it to a nuclear world war, everybody on the defence got crazy. on the movie we used to hear the voice of the program through old fashined speakers, ¿ do you remeber it? that was an amazing movie. Let make an excell war movie shall we?

I use the Enter button "Speak On Enter" because I am such a bad typer and speller. Sometimes I catch errors.

I do remember that movie. But let's use Excel to make Peace in the world, instead of war!!

Hi Mike,

Is there any way to delete alternative rows without actually doing it manually?

For example, I have a data set and I would like to delete rows 2,4,6 and so on.

My work actually requires me to do so and I spend a lot of time deleting the rows manually. My extracted data is in such a way that there is an Item No. in one row and in the next row there is the description of the Item No. which I want to get rid of.

I hope you understand the question.

I am on Highline Excel Class 04 now. And learning a lot from each video.

There is only 1 thing that made me really sad: You don't teach about VBA...

VBA is so great! I now very little about it, but I think it is amazing... You have to make VBA classes!!!

The end of the series I teach Macros but no VBA. If you don't know something, you can't teach it!

I always thought I was the master of Excel and I knew 90% everything of Excel, but this video (which only shows the basics), even tells me that 90% of the video is the stuff, which I am not familiar with. Just really amazed by the shortcuts and the add to quick access toolbar, which I never knew of before.

Oh, but I am thrilled to have the Basic Series videos. The only thing I can't figure out is why I can't find the keyboard shortcut sheet on either ExcelBasics video I downloaded. I've had a horrible time with Excel this year so I'll go back to basics and work my way through.
