  • What is the bronze glaze exactly?

  • @patrickarnao the bronze glaze is a mixture of ,

1 quart modern master metallic bronze paint

1 gallon modern master extender for latex paint,

1/2 pint modern master metallic black paint

we also have a ready mixed aged bronze here in the studio that you purchase by the gallon that is less expensive than purchasing the 3 products separately.

    .

  • @fxclassesmd THANKS!

  • is that the same plaster we use for texture paint?????? Tiko

  • No this is done with joint compound, texture paint does not have enough body to vreate the build.

    Ron

  • Is it okay to use plaster like that on framed canvases?

Or would the plaster crack more than one would like and chip on a flexible surface like canvas?

  • @Snowthingy

it would chip on canvas, the studio sells a product called Faux Stone, it works on canvas, visit, thefauxschool . com/products for more information

  • Finally somebody actually showing you HOW to do the technique... Bravo and thank you! Looks amazing!
