I've been a registered Republican for the last 25 years. I've never voted for a Democratic president. But I live in Pennsylvania and I'll bes witching to Democrat. I plan on voting for Obama. He's part of my generation, yes - he's inspiring, but most of all, Hillary scares the hell out of me!
Men and woman who are still so scared of their man can not see a woman who is smart wining.SHE MEDIA IS OBAMA CARAZY and no one can say a bad thing about him Voting Present instead of saying YEs or No is un American Or strange in the media.Woman hating is Now the norm. Gay Latino men support women. You go sisters!!!! Satnd up to your oppresing conviction for Hillary. Mcain, or even Obama.
A lot of this is very good, but he makes the same lame analysis of how Clinton would campaign against McCain that a lot of other pundits make. The reason Clinton emphasizes experience against Obama is because they are so close on issues. Obviously Clinton wouldn't campaign purely on experience and toughness against McCain - she is closer to the American people on healthcare, abortion, taxes, etc. than McCain is, and counters McCain's strengths of toughness and experience better than Obama does.
AMEN!!! Clinton cannot win, because of her extremely HIGH negatives and the many polls which already say that she could NEVER win against McCain. She and her husband are concerned only with themselves, and not with "We The People," the Democratic Party, and especially our country! They will do ANYTHING to win, including the "Tricky Dick" Nixon, Lee Atwater, Karl Rove, Bush "DIRTY POLITICS," and I could and would NEVER vote for someone like that! Thank God I won't have to!

I think everything will be much simpler.
Americans are not psychologically ready for black president, no matter how democratic they feel they are. Stepping from man to woman president is psychologically easier than stepping from white to black.
So Hillary will at least beat Obama and if Lessig is right, will be beaten by McCain.
People typically see their own shortfalls in others. You are simply projecting here. It is your own inability to be "ready" for a black president that you are framing on the "americans".
the truth is, if you look at the current delegate count and trends, all experts agree that it's virtually impossible for hillary 2 end up with more pledged delegates at the convention than obama...and it would be suicide for the superdelegates to supersede and subvert the decision of the public.
I have to agree. When I listen and see Obama, all I see is JFK. I hope he wins. And I am not even an American and I can't vote. But I am deeply troubled about the Bush Administration, and I believe real change can only happen by Obama.
Try a Wikipedia search on "Mark Penn" who is Hillary's chief campaign strategist. He's a scary, scary dude. If Hillary does win (I pray she does NOT.), Mark Penn will play a major role.
there are 217 delegates left barack has 155 more then her and on average when she wins she barely does so her odds of getting nominated are low

Well, good thing you framed all of the candidates' "strenghts and weaknesses" to favor Obama.

I will be happy to see I am wrong and will be very glad for Americans if they choose Obama.
My ability to be "ready" is not a problem, but I am not even an American and cannot vote.
US has big impact in the world, so these elections will be important not only for your country. I am only an observer and a fan here. =)

too bad there is no full array of Republicans running. There is two and one candidate who has scaled back.
Also John McCain is the nominee. Huckabee has no mathematical chance at grabbing delegates.
Learn a little bit about politics, without spinning.
The Democrats are of chaos.
