Awesome song buddy. Great beat and I really dig that piano at the begining and end...and you're right about record companies, you've got your own style going and it's fresh and different. Wow! So I go and say you make catching, energetic tunes and you turn around and make an awesome one! For some reason, this gave me the feel of being off of Michael Jackson's first solo album, Off The Wall. The vocals in the chorus, the keyboard and the bass line particularly.
