Did they say anything (other than the obvious)about what sent her down? I mean what damage specifically?
Also, now that it's availabe (it wasn't in the '40's), have they tried DNA testing to see if they can determine who the one sailor found in the life raft was? They should be able to get enough DNA out of even a single tooth or hair to be able to determine identity. I would think that giving a little peace of mind to one family would make it worth the exhumation.
