POOR HTC HD2 having password malfunctions

When I switched it on it no longer accepted by password. I have tried very conceivable way, havimg to enter a1b2c3 to allow me to to keep trying, many soft resettings, calling HTC support,

The only advice I got from HTC is to do a hard reset. That is definitely NOt a solution, as what is the point of having a pda that keeps needing to spen half a day

htc are very good in advertisement, but its not perfect yet.I have this phone but I always perform this hard reset due to the phone is always lock. every time I removed the batt. I have to perform hard reset, the worst phone I ever had.

they told me its bug in the software! ive had the phone since june 24th and have had to do this twice now! they said they will send me one with the new software! so check for updates on your phone is what they said everyone should do! If it doesnt work again! im going back to CricKet as much as i hate to say that! Cuz i love this phone!

Hi everyone, from what I remember in order to reset the phone I did the instructions as per the video PLUS I help down the Red Soft Reset button below the battery. It does take a bit of dexterity but it worked for me. I removed the passcode and have never had the same problem again.

@swtglaura Freeze ups happen to me about weekly. Then I do ALL the above tricks.

Nothing happens. So don't use it for a few days. With the battery in, or not. Then accidentally, it MIGHT unfreeze ... for a few more days.
