If any part of the QB is behind the line of scrimmage, feet, ball, hangnail, etc. it's a legal pass.

it was a forward pass, wycheck was at the 25 yard line when he threw it...look closely at 1:30 that the ball was like a foot past the 25 yard line...so it was a forward pass by a tiny bit...btw im a patriots fan not a bills fan, kinda hate the bills actually

For everyone saying it was a foward pass IT WAS A LATERAL!!! It went almost half a yard backwards I was at the game on the fricken yard line when Wycheck threw it. As long as it doesn't go foward any it can go completely sideways it is a lateral and I'm not even a Titans fan I was cheering for the Bills but I can't deny what I saw.

Look at where his hand is when he threw it. It was past the 25 yard line and the ball was caught just with about half the ball on the 25 yard line. Its not where he is when he throws it its where the ball its when its thrown.

it doesnt matter where the man is when he catches it. its from where the ball is to where the ball goes, not the man who catches it. the qb threw the ball on the 25 yard line, and the receiver caught it on the 25 yard line. hard to see from this angle, but in other videos, it'll show that the ball is a few inches behind the line. its very hard to see though, and was very tough to call.

well.. the titans wouldve beat the ravens if they didnt have that delay of game incident. Ive watched that countless times and it still baffles me how NONE of the referees watched the clock on that one. Im a ravens fan and all, but i think the titans SHOULD have won that game

The non call is after the fact -
the play still got made, the first down still happened. that didn't make the play happen. It isnt as if they completed a pass where the receiver was clearly out of bounds or something - the penalty was procedural and therefore the play following it still matched up full talent to full talent.
procedure penalties cant change the outcomes of plays. the titans still had a chance to stop it, and if they did, then they would have won. they didnt
