  • I dare someone to say slash's name in the same sentence as this guy's.

  • @SASLEAD666 Challenge Accepted.

"Slash's name in the same sentence as this guy's."

  • from 0:00 - 0:12 i think has more notes than a all time low album, not saying they suck

  • Shawn Lane will always be no.1 shredder. R.I.P. The Master :'(

  • great

  • Szczyt masturbacji gitarowej. Chujowe.

  • if had a beard and hockey jersey here he could have me fooled me for jeff hanneman

  • persons who can't wrap their heads around what's going on in this video and videos like this dont have an ear for music. turn your radio back on and listen to some mainstream bullshit and fry your brain out some more. better yet, since theres no emotion going on in this video why dont you write your own composition that not only beats this but makes this look terrible. GO!

  • yay

  • SHAWN LANE AND BUCKETHEAD... FOREVER. ♥ ♥ ♥

  • The difference between Lane and other shredders like MAB or Impellitteri is that Lane was a real musician, using technique only as a vehicle for actual music. MAB does it like a circus trick (his songs suck, actually) and Impellitteri only plays scales exercises, like he`s spanking his monkey.

  • @xuxis2008 You are stupid. How can you honestly say MAB isn't a real muscian?

  • @Doug44393 Because he doesn't play with emotion. All he does is use technical patterns and picking just for the sake of being technical.

  • @xJohnxAnarchyx Definition of Musician straight from the Dictionary.

    1. a person who makes music a profession, especially as a performer of music.

2.any person, whether professional or not, skilled in music.

MAB is a real musician . He plays with emotion too. God you elitists are so annoying with that bs.

  • @Doug44393 I agree, MAB gets flak for no reason. Well, okay it's probably because HE IS THE BIGGEST SHOWOFF IN THE WORLD!!!!1!!.....but still.....the dude can play.

  • very awesome :)

    RIP shawn <3

  • That part from 19 seconds to 25 seconds sounds so nice!

  • @ArpeggioFelatio Well, it doesn't have to like it to everyone, a person has his own tastes. Me for example, i love Shawn but more his latest music, with the Indian influence. His early stuff just doesn't get to me that much (not all, but i think most of it), but as you see, is a matter of what kind of music you like. I do recommend to listen to his indian stuff, it's very touching and amazing, i think that's those are the years were Shawn gets the perfect equilibrium between feel and technique.

  • Cue the debate

  • This is my expectations of my playing when I get adrenaline and start tremolo picking. The outcome is quite different :(

  • Hey, it's Luke Skywalker's lightsaber this time! (I know it's unoriginal but people usually say 'Darth Vader'

  • He has some serious chops on his instrument, but the music he makes is very superficial. It sounds like an 80's soundtrack to a Chuck Norris movie. There's a million times more content in one minute of a Satie composition than there is in ten hours of this guy's albums. Still... great player.

  • The way he ends the solo with that wide interval run and that high note rings out due to reverb...I don't know why but I find it...magical to be honest.

  • Why does this remind me of the zoo???

  • Am I the only one who tears up when I watch this?

  • Really not a fan of this kind of music, but honors to shawn regardless. I may not want to dance to the sounds or anything, but I can appreciate his talent and musicality enough to enjoy watching this. Can't deny that he was one of the best guitarists ever.

  • What a jerk!

What's he doing walking around with hair like that!

    I'm a Malmsteen man myself

  • @SKILLWILL09 You must also be gay, why do you worry about his hair. Take your bitch ass back to that one trick pony that burned completley out in the 80s chn. Shawn Lane makes Yngwie LOOK as stupid as his name SOUNDS. Dont make me start trolling that fat fucks videos, l love fucking pissing off you fucking 80s guitar hero fags.

  • @joe1969812 LOL there are a lot of cons on the Malmsteen side of a SL - YM argument; And to begin trolling Malmsteen's videos: Certainly many shits and giggles to be had! But when I come back to Shawn Lane's music I always realize that I'd better get my ass back to my guitar and keep practicing, then to waste my time screwing around with fellow musicians

  • @unwantedmonkey Well you have a point there but...first of all l hate when people talk so much praise of YM, he is fucking boring, how many fucking times can l watch him play a harmonic minor scale? Second of all Shawn Lane makes me want to give up guitar, he's un fucking believable.

  • OMG Delete jacquellines videos from YouTube. She pays a crapLoad of money in order to be advertised and watched, while the only feeling y might get from her guitar "solos " is the one of wanting to tear yr ears off with yr own hands.

  • @YsNick1 Yes, yes, and yes!

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think shawn's music is gay. Keep in mind this was, what, 1992? and he had written this before then. Check out Deep Umbra/Hell is other people if you can't do this.

  • he is unreal at guitar but it does soung pretty gay

  • Comment removed

  • @LTDGuitars420 bubble gum lol, you fucking faggot ass nigga, what sort of a fag says bubble gum, go play in traffic you gay little faggot. .

  • Comment removed

  • @LTDGuitars420 any less of a troll? FAIL your right you are the biggest troll, you even said it.

  • @LTDGuitars420 Nope. Beautiful shredding.

  • @LTDGuitars420 You asked. I didn't.

  • I play like him.

  • loll!! the band in the back sound like the beach stage in mariokart!

  • I don't know about all of you, but this really doesn't tell me anything. I hope anyone of you get what I mean.

  • @RemusN7 Indifference is fine. It's the bashing that starts up flame wars here on the tube, especially regarding the guitar "penis" wars if you get the terminology.

  • @SuperGuitarBrad That's because he does have small hands :) amazing how he can do those stretches eh :-bd

  • its like, michael romeo meet donky Kong racing ... i mean the music,

  • @Ppalquelee Donkey Kong Racing was never released.. sob sob

  • @SeTorsken jaojajoaaojoj right , XP , Diddy Kong Racing joajoa XP sorry

  • @Ppalquelee You're welcome ;D

  • The slow part was by far the best, IMO.

  • after lookin at everybodies posts I feel less afraid to talk shit about shawn lane

for me this video just doesn't cut it for much other than elevator music.

  • @azkeyz

But because you have milivanili in your Faves (Bwaahaha!!!)

your opinion on music/ musicians loses TONS of credibility.

    Really?! millivanilli OMG!!!!!!!!

  • @azkeyz shawn lane was a genius guy, and that is not opinion.

  • @azkeyz you can talk shit about shawn lane but his amazing signifance to music is incredible. he's probably better than every guitarist you know of. he has a huge understanding of music theory more than you could ever imagine. yeah this song sound a bit like elivator music, but believe me look in to some of his other stuff, he can play anything, not to mention this song is him not being afraid to reach out to something different than what everyone wants to hear. which i respect very much.

  • such small hands

  • lol lame

  • why are you people even bringing up other musicians? the only names that should appear alongside 'shawn lane' would be 'bach' or 'beethoven' or 'dasa' or 'tyagaraja' or 'tatum'

  • holy shit this guy was WAY ahead of his time when it came to speed O_o

  • Lane is a technically fabulous guitarist, but I find his music cheesy as hell.

  • @antonio610 that u may say for some songs in his powers of 10 album .. listen to his works with hellborg and the likes .. crazy jazz stuff.

  • @antonio610 what about his music is cheesy?

  • @DJDrSciFi hi my fan thanks for you'r comment would you like a cup of tea? :)

  • i just wanna say to all my fans thanks for your comments shawn lane would laugh at you posting gary moore's got the blues? LOL! i'll laugh for shawn hahahahhahahaa YOU SIR ARE A WANKER

  • @JoestumpOwnsYngwie

Maybe Shawn Lane wouldn't laugh. Gary Moore is a great guitar player and "Still Got The Blues" is a masterpiece. And Moore isn't just blues, he plays many styles perfectly. Shreders like MAB or Joe Stump quote him as one of their biggest influence in terms of technique and speed. Don't get me wrong, i don't compare Moore to Lane. Two way different guitarists.

  • 0:32 I'm sorry, can you repeat that?

  • holy sweet fuck jesus christ

  • beautiful and crazy!!!! O.O shane is the best!!!

  • lol zakk wylde is gay sure he can cover some nice ozzy songs after he started makeing his own ozzy kicked his ass out of the band because he just makes noise with the petatonic scale like 99% of the blues guitarists do but blues guitar is the lazy mans route to be called a guitar player just like oooh lets......... bend that 9'th fret on g and let everyother string ring out IM A BLUES MASTER blues is gay its slow takes no skill unless you'r shawn lane :D

  • @JoestumpOwnsYngwie

You sir, sound like a wanker.

  • @JoestumpOwnsYngwie

Your just one ignorant, dumb, fuck huh??....

Im not even going to argue with you.

I just want you to check this out:

    /watch?v=4O_YMLDvvnw

Even though your a tard, I'm gonna let you in on some real shit.

Maybe if you mature one day you'll appreciate the passion of Blues.

That will be the day you become a true musician.

    Peace

  • @DJDrSciFi hmm, blues has nothing to do with becoming a true musician, classical guitar owns blues in every aspect and was around way before blues was. anyhow theres so many other styles of guitar playing that is better then the lazy mans guitar style i call blues.

  • @AllHaters

First of all NO type of good music "owns" another type of good music.

Just like classical, jazz, or shred I defend good music when it becomes subject of negative conversation.

People like you & all the other musical morons who say

"the blues is lazy, lame, talentless", or whatever the fuck else.... You obviously belong to the class of ignorance.

Like I said watch "I still got the blues" -Gary Moore(especially the solo)

Nothing "owns it" in any way shape or form!!!

  • @DJDrSciFi i have alot of gary moores albums, his older stuff is alright. but if your not into technical guitar players that requires more skill then just doing bends all the time. i guess if you like solos with tons of bends in it thats cool :D

  • @mosesposes

"i have alot of gary moores albums, his older stuff is alright. but if your not into technical guitar players that requires more skill then just doing bends all the time."

You obviously not well aware of Gary Moore's guitar work. He is definitely a technical guitar player. The studio stuff shows his music, and the music always take precedence over technique and speed. His live stuff is way more technical. Listen to "Gary Moore - Live Guitar Solo (White Knuckles) - 23rd May 1983"!

  • @mosesposes I know you are gonna call me a name of some sort.True,Classical existed before

Blues. But why does EVERY Notably great guitarist, from Eliot Fisk to Gary Moore to Steve Morse

acknowledge aspiring guitarists to study Blues. You're entitled to your opinion, but i think you're selling

the Blues a little short,it's the roadmap to the journey we call Music.

  • @AnnaAnnaYes Nothing wrong with studying the blues, but there is only so much you can play by ear. If you want to play this kind of music you have to know a some amount music theory that's also used by classical and jazz players.

  • @boertush I agree,all of my brothers play guitar,they started with blues,and then progressed

into jazz and fusion styles. And they all know theory

  • @JoestumpOwnsYngwie

zakk wylde is an overrated turd, but you're out of your mind if you think it takes no talent to play. it takes no talent to wank the blues, but it takes loads of talent to actually play the blues. this is of course, excluding extremely typical blues.

  • @Fluffypopcicle Ha in what way is Zakk Wylde overrated? He plays many styles and techniques of music from chicken picking to acoustic to metal and everything in between. Im seriously sick of people dissing on Zakk, he is one of my idols (along with Shawn Lane, RIP).

  • @yeahlasley

he is a pentatonic whore. he is versatile for the first 2 weeks or so listen to him, but after that he just gets old (imo). however, he gets far too much praise. there are people who put him above rhandy rhoads and a lot of his fans that i have come across are brainless idiots. he is an excellent guitarist, but he gets too much praise.

  • @Fluffypopcicle Clearly you havent heard enough of his music then. Now, I never said he was better than Randy (which he is most definitely NOT better), but dude give the man some credit where credits do. I personally have heard him step out of the Pentatonic scale thing, and yeah ill agree he kinda abuses it, but thats just his thing i've heard him play a lot of diminished and diatonic stuff. But idk i think your underclassing him just a bit, then again its your opinion so its whatever.

  • @yeahlasley

"clearly you haven't listened to enough of his music then" the only way to outlisten somebody is to listen to them a lot -.- i give zakk wylde credit for being original and pretty technical. i have more of a problem with his fans (not including you of course) than him. when i call somebody overrated it's directed more towards the persons fans than the person. im not sure why you think im underclassing him, i called him an excellent guitarist, i just think many fans overrate him.

  • @JoestumpOwnsYngwie That, was one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read in my life.

  • Well, i prefeer Zakk as well, even though Shawn Lane is a sick Guitarrist, Zakk's style of playing fits me better.

  • @Knuckles669 blues guitar players took the lazy mans route of playing guitar. and yet 90% of people only love blues style, but its to repetitve and nothing new... it is a very boring play style and no one knows how hard it is to get as good as shawn lane is. shawn brought new ways to play pentatonic scales with out being so boring and slow like most play them.

  • @mosesposes that is a very immature comment. judging someone just by their technique is a very unheatlhy approach if you ask me. Yes, Shawn is a freaking gutiar god. but for every incredible guitar player like Shawn (someone who can play with feel as well as shred the fuck out of the guitar and in combo) , there are thousands of other shred crapheads ( eg. in case - michael angelo batio) who can shred but can't compose anything worht hearing..

  • @sowhat123 well if you actually play guitar and are looking for things to add into your own style of playing, technical guitarists blow away the conventional guitar players that everyone wants to listen too. so thats where im coming from.

  • @sowhat123

    a new day?

  • @mosesposes Hey, what's wrong with you? You couldn't be farther from reality by saying Zakk style of playing is ''lazy''. He is a technical player, perhaps not as technical as Shawn, but his feeling is intense and sincere, and his licks are extremely beautiful. Zakk has nothing of boring, go listen to some of his work with Ozzy, there are thing that go to Neo-Classical to whatever you might think. Go get some information before talking crap, you clearly have not listened nothing os Zakk's work.

  • @Knuckles669 i have all ozzy albums, and black label society albums. anyhow you must think im some noob about guitar players but ive been listening to them for 20yrs. i can agree that zakks best guitar work was with mama im comming home album. but listen to all of his recent stuff its all the same. go scroll through some black label society songs and skip to the solos, they all sound the exact same. i guess if your into that enjoy!

  • @Knuckles669

i love the way you stated that. how you said "i like him better" instead of saying "he is better." if more people did this 99% of arguments would be avoided.

  • I prefer Zakk Wylde, not saying shawn isnt amazingly talented which he is, but its just too much shred

  • @mackleydu you clearly have not listened to his albums

  • @GuitarsOfArp I havent listened to all of them all the way through. But I've heard a few. Admittedly all aren ridiculous shred :L But if it isnt shred its just blues stuff I've heard before. I prefer Zakk Wylde :)

  • sharon osbourne is a whore

  • back in the day ..zakk wylde had a much better tone and style...it would have been amazing having both of them together.

  • Malmsteen and him goes to the same restaurant.

  • @lucasf22 damn, dude, u suck

  • @TheEvilLike no man, he sucks.

  • what is the fastest shawn lane song

  • @levijones79 Um, well, there's the solo on the REH version of Not Again, Kaisar Nancarrow is pretty fast, the Lane Blitz is scary fast, then there's also the Myshawnlanevideo's song that's titled Insane picking lick.

Honestly though, none of these are Lane at his absolute fastest. Theres a story from Barry Bays (Shawn's bassist) in which he said shawn could go twice as fast as his fastest lick that's been recorded. Don't completely know though, you'd have to ask Willjay for more information.

  • @istillbowlverywell No way, twice as fast as he's ever been recorded? Playing that fast would venturue into the realm of metaphysical playing.

  • @levijones79 Want one of Shawns fastest?

Try a video called, "Shawn Lane Tripping Fingers"

    It's my featured vid! Peace!

  • WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE THE SAME CRAPPY TONE

  • @masoudnima which one where you listening to?

  • these dick heads who criticize these vidsshould try a career in music journalism where their talents would be appreciated

  • these dick heads who criticize should try a career in music journalism

  • i'm not a big fan of most shredders, but i gotta give this guy his props. his shredding is all emotion where most others' is all technique. of course there are exceptions to the rule, and sean lane is one of them. really beautiful stuff.

  • At least Shawn Lane Never Had his Own reality series >: )

  • Comment removed

  • Shawn Lane should be regarded as the greatest guitarist in our lifetime. Why? Because he didn't bore us or make us cringe like MAB. He was not as derivative as Petrucci. He had an amazing vibrato, both bar and fingers, unlike Laiho. He is cultured, unlike Wylde. He played multiple instruments very well, unlike . He had soul, unlike Cooley.

Howe, Govan, Friedman-these players are all amazing, but none are in Shawn's league. They THEMSELVES have all recognized Shawn's superior musicality.

  • @ununoctium100 I Completely Agree. Nail on the head man...

  • @RoadWarrior2006 Thank you, my friend.

Shawn was an inspiration to musicians of all walks, not just the guitar community. Unfortunately, he left this earth too soon, just as he predicted would happen while describing the parallels of his life to Coltrane's to my best mate in a conversation years earlier.

  • @ununoctium100 Hahaha so it's all a competition again then is it? They are all great you douche. I personally like George Benson more. Oh wait you said he is not as good as Lane, I guess I have to like Lane the best if I want to have the "correct" opinion.. Grow up.

  • @GollyWogCum181

Anyone with a screen name such as yours has zero authority on maturity, and calling me "douche" isn't helping your stance.

As for competition, Shawn was incredibly fast, his timing was impeccable, and he was in tune with his bends and vibrato. These are all MEASURABLE aspects of one'splaying, including Benson's (who I like, btw). It is intellectually lazy to call Shawn's style "shredding". SRV was "technical" but because he played blues he gets a pass. Completely unfair.

  • @ununoctium100 SRV played more than blues he played jazz too but he was the best blues guitarist i've ever seen but shawn lane is amazing iwas just stating that SRV is better than the average blues guitarist

  • @chocolateMAN200 Not only was SRV "better than the average blues guitarist", he cared enough about his musci to actually honor it by playing well technically AS WELL AS emotionally. Many YouTarders seem to miss this fact (I'm not referring to you AT ALL, chocolateMAN200; you obviously get it). When a hack tries to justify his own poor technique by claiming it's "blues, so I just jam with FEELING, man", I just point to Shawn or SRV and ask, "Ok, so NOW what's your fucking excuse? THEY have BOTH!"

  • @ununoctium100 agreed man... I mean I'm all about the music first but technique is required and is very important. My personal rule of thumb is that you can have as much technical ability as you want but just remember to have double the musical creativity. Shawn is a perfect example of this... I mean I don't have a problem with guitarists who have no technical ability I just hate it when they use playing with feeling as an excuse for not having any.

  • @ununoctium100 Well most people are inherently lazy and mentally weak. Also incredibly afraid of not going to college and 'makin' it'. SRV slept on pool tables before he got rich.

  • @ununoctium100 Couldn't agree more. The "feeling versus technique" debate is totally wrong and ignorant. It is just a way for lazy players to justify the fact that they don't practice enough to be able to play what they REALLY feel.

  • @ununoctium100 srv sounds like a hippo getting raped when he sings

  • @wiggitywiggitywort Look, we're all familiar with that particular sound because every Saturday night with your mom is a full volume reminder, but that's no reason to bag on SRV...

Try not to sound like a 15 year old girl with your inevitable response. I'm referring to your vocabulary in other posts, "wat" and "faggot", for just two idiotic examples. I'll hold you to a higher standard, so don't disappoint me like you do your girlfriend during your regular Wednesday dry hump.

  • I worked with Stevie Ray Vaughan as his personal security when he toured here in the UK.Stevie was a diamond of a guy...no image issues, no heirs and graces...he had all the time in the World to stop and talk with his fans...one rainy night in Manchester I was walking back to the coach with him..he was carrying his dinner, tired after a gig full of power cuts and setbacks...when 2 of his fans appeared out of the dark night he put his plate on the ground and yapped with them for over an hour.

  • @Roynsam Wonderful! SRV understood customer service better than most corporations.

  • @Roynsam great story

  • @ununoctium100 isn't this jazz fusion? :S

  • @ununoctium100 And they both have death to show for it.

  • @ununoctium100 Everyone who plays, plays with feeling. It's an inescapable fact. Tranferring a feeling coherently is another matter. That is the real issue, how well you can convey your feelings through a medium that lacks words. Not many can, because they do not understand what playing with feeling really is, so they become echos of their favourite guitarists (can't convey what you don't know). This the guitar community is very much devoid of substance. Very sad, but very true.

  • @MariusSoma What your saying is completely true and I agree with you. Very insightful statement. I believe like you said everyone plays with feeling and it is difficult to express your true feelings through a medium without words. Becoming an echo of your favorite guitarist IMO is a good thing because they in a way express your feelings for you through their music. Even though Shawn lane is playing the guitar I feel like I am expressing myself just by listening to him.

  • @crazyboyxx as far as technique which is the only thing you can argue objectively Rusty Cooley and moreso Tiago Della Vega are the closest. Govan may be similar in style but his technique can't compete

  • @parquar lol you dont know what youre talking about. guthrie govanis farrrr more technically gifted then cooley and vega. all their shred patters are sstraight foward runs. govanis doing complex jazz runs and is better at hybrid picking, string-skipped tapping, country play, slap guitar, and every other tecnique. speed isnt the only technique. theres more to technical playing than speed.

  • @ShredFever92 You're full of garbage. Guthrie's runs are chalk full of pentatonics and it's sad that you don't know enough about guitar to realize that. A few outside notes don't make you a jazzer. I've got news for you pal but Shawn Lane is far more versatile that Govan. On top of that Lane is a gifted keyboard player and a superb composer. Shawn Lane can play stunning interval leaps that Govan couldn't attempt. I enjoy Govan's playing but there isn't anything that stands out.

  • @pikeasaurusrex calm down there little guy..... i find shawns stuff easier. its all just fast playing.. theres not obscure tecnique. i never said shawn wasnt amazing or anything.

  • @ShredFever92 At 6'3" and 240 lbs very few people have ever called me little guy straight to my face little man. I call BS on you claiming you can easily cop Shawn Lanes playing. Another 18 yr old born liar. Govan could be confused with a myriad of other "shredders" out there..............AS HE HAS NO DISCERNABLE STYLE! Shawn Lane is a gifted and tasteful guitar technician, a superb piano player & an excellent composer. I've yet to hear a memorable Govan composition.

  • @pikeasaurusrex lol you get pretty mad. and yeah im 18, but i got offered scholarships for g uitar. from all the 3 schools ive auditioned for so far. im pretty damn good. and i find shawn lanes straight patterns to be easier. obviously im not as fast as him, but i find it easier than govan's bazare jazz runs. thats just my opinion. and i find govan's album memorable. and i love shawn lane and govan.

  • @pikeasaurusrex Yeaaaaaaa guitar batlle.... cool! You are the man. Shawn Lane I choose you! Shawn use your Bm7 arpeggio attack on Govan to finish him off! Wow so cool!

  • @ShredFever92 You obviously haven't seen the full extent of della vega or cooley. I'll give him hybrid picking and slap but you seriously think he stands a chance competing with string-skipped tapping or "complex jazz runs"? You just picked alternative techniques and then implied that he can string skip better just because he's blown out of the water in left and right hand technique for standard playing.

  • @parquar

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Della vega is shit compared to Govan and Lane, sure he can play at 300 bpm, but his tone and melodies are boring. These guys have a level of improvisation della vega couldnt reach.

  • @xMetalUpYourA55x I was talking from a technical standpoint ONLY. As for music neither are ideal for me although Lane is probably most deep by far. I was only arguing the raw technical abilities because the music is subjective and you could justify any guitarist being the best with subjective qualifications. I also find Bach on a tier much higher than Govan and Lane for the same reasons you said. He on the spot improvised a fugue on a theme (designed to be screwy) that was sung to him!!

  • I play bass and I have nothing but respect for this man. R.I.P Mr. Lane..

  • this guy has GOT to be the phenom amongst shredders..

i think rusty cooley channels his "spirit" but lane is more melodic.

  • 10 people play the bass!

  • The only reason people bash great guys like these for the virtuoso talent is because they are jealous!

  • For those who have'nt heard the story. There was a time when Ozzy Osbourne

was considering a dual-guitar lineup for touring, and Shawn Lane did come up in

the conversation.Sharon Osbourne reportedly dismissed Lane because of his

"appearance". Both Bruce Dickinson(Iron Maiden) and Vince Neil(Motley Crue)

have confirmed this story, although Zakk Wylde seems to have "forgotten"it.I don't

blame him. The thought of getting "owned" every night by Shawn Lane would scare

    me too!!

  • @AnnaAnnaYes

Interesting.. where did you hear this?

  • @0ptriX Guitar Player magazine touched on it a little. And Bruce Dickinson

of Iron Maiden mentioned it in a mag called"Revolver". My brother is a session

guitarist, and he's met a lot of big-name musicians who don't speak highly of

    Sharon Osbourne,so i don't doubt it did'nt happen.

  • @AnnaAnnaYes me too lol

  • @gleucoma I hear ya!!!

  • @AnnaAnnaYes I'd think they wouldn't pick him for his sound lol come on really the shredding would be nice be I just can't see Ozzy singing along to a jazz fusion song

  • @Gibsonrocker89 I'm sure he could play Ozzy's material, had he been given the chance

  • @AnnaAnnaYes I'm not saying he couldn't play it but in some videos I've seen Shawn doing some Q&A and it seemed that he was bored with playing just rock and would assume he wouldn't want the gig

  • @Gibsonrocker89 You are correct,he probably would had turned it down

But Sharon Osbourne never gave him the opportunity, and she herself has

had weight issues. She should be ashamed of herself!!

  • @AnnaAnnaYes Fuck Sharon then.

  • @RoadWarrior2006 Unfortunately Ozzy is!!

  • @AnnaAnnaYes I now hate sharon osbourne even more than before

  • @llwayneio No Shit(pardon my language)!!

  • @AnnaAnnaYes Maybe he should have just worked out twice a week on top of selling his soul for guitar ability

  • @cracksnake Well Sharon Osbourne had no position criticizing his weight!

  • @cracksnake he had to take steroids for medical conditions, i believe psoriasis, he couldn,t help the weight

  • @AnnaAnnaYes nice opinion asswipe

  • @Wolf15r It's Sarcasm sir

  • @AnnaAnnaYes How can one musician "own" another musician? Has music suddenly become a competition? Is playing guitar now a sport? Does Monet "own" Van Gogh through superior technique?

  • @SendInTheChickens It was only a comment on how Zakk Wylde has never

commented on how Shawn Lane's name was passed around briefly as a second

guitarist. Music,in a way,has always been competitive. Paganini was,so was

    Mozart.

  • @AnnaAnnaYes zakk wyldes pretty lame and his fans are even lamer ha lol

  • @strangemongo88 I would'nt say that. Zakk is Zakk, but a Wylde/Lane coloboration would've

    been amazing on stage

  • @AnnaAnnaYes LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.. getting owned by Shawn each day would make you throw your guitar or make you feel worthy of just having a Squier bullet

  • @09kitty23 It probably would ;)

  • @AnnaAnnaYes What the hell is your problem with Zakk Wylde? Sure he can't shred string skipping arpeggios at 200 bpm, But he is a damn good musican.
