the good thing that i see is that Al golden is at miami to win games 1st and randy shannon was there to clean up the program...he admitted that he had 2 choices to either win games or make the program academically better....he chose 1 and he was the sacrificial lamb....he took one for the team without a doubt.

Great job man. Great job. How can anyone who is a Cane fan not get excited about Golden and his staff he has put together so far. Seem like relentless workers on the recruiting trail - hopefully that translates onto the field/weight room as well in developing the Cane players .. something sorely lacking the past 4 years - not only that, but division among the team from the inside and certain players being coddled with no sense of the fear of losing their spot

I like everything that I have seen so far. Defined goals, committed to his plan, personal with the media and just shaking things up. I also like the fact that some of these recruits may not come to Miami - no problem. There is someone else out there that will take that scholarship and you can be a random at some other school. A lot of these recruits will regret not signing with Miami but that's okay because you did not want to compete for playing time. THE BEST BRAND in college football!
