  • make the course mour DANGEROUS

  • red bmw look kinda fye and i like dat nissan

  • great fun! Would like to see them driving over a more stony grounds. :D

  • The red car and the blue car had a race...

  • lol at the hammer. nice one

  • Monty Python's Twit Rally

  • Yes the R34 WIN!

  • the steering is a bit unorthodox : )

  • did you make the track yourself? im jealous that you have it :P

  • Cool!!

Is there anyway of "sending the models" to say a CAD programme?

  • Is there any movie about how to use Toy Car inreactor?

  • what the hell happened to the land rover's rear suspension?!

  • NICE MAN

  • @OrbitAirlinesPilot

It's all completely random, so I guess I'm lucky anyone finishes the race at all!

  • wuuut??? that red car is so using cheat codes!

cool videos man, really fun to watch

  • @username112256

It does look like that! Thanks for your comment.

  • @Wabefuhon I've been doing that actually, but I spent so much time driving the cars that I didn't realise that they were going a bit slow... ...hmm. I've been wondering whether to finish and release the project at all! We'll see.

  • lol look like blind drivers

  • @fleshmannn It is a bit basic. I have rigged up a full car with steering, but the time it takes to actually "drive" them around the circuit is quite painstaking. It looks a bit more realistic than these, but shows my poor driving skills up!

  • man you are amazing i tried to use toycar but i an control the car can you tell me how can i use the car?

  • @efeeryilmaz In this example, I just used the walls of the track to control the direction of the cars. It is a little basic, but it works fairly well. Of course, if you wanted to be clever, you could make the walls invisible to the renderer or delete them and then the cars would appear to race around the circuit on their own!

  • Great Rendering, can you make a tutorial? thanks

  • @Francis115pinoy

I used the tutorial from Micemincer to make the cars and then the rest is just making the geometry for the track. I like to sprinkle in a little interest when designing the track, like some jumps and stuff, but it's all pretty basic stuff. If you look back at Toy Car Test 1 and go through the video clips up to Toy Car Test 6 then you'll see I try to add something new to the scene each time and improve the scenery. It's just spending a bit of time modelling patiently!

  • @nezumidesigns Oh, I meant a tutorial about rendering the scene, lol well thanks anyways.

  • so cool

  • You are pro man! Please make tutorial!

  • can you make a tutorial on making the car rig set up ?

  • @therockriderz Check out micemincer for a great rigging tutorial. The rest is just your imagination!

  • how do you make cars?

  • @JimmieJohnsonrules Actually, you don't need to make the cars! There are several good websites that have free models (for non-commercial use) and you can also download and convert models from the Sketchup Warehouse. I just made a very low poly proxy as my reactor model to keep the calculation time down.

  • thanks!

  • add some trucks and a flag stand

  • There's quite a lot that I should add to each scene. I'm slowly adding more to each one as I make them.

  • lol the hammer.. good job

  • Thanks, I nicked the idea from a very old computer game!

  • what game ^^ ?

  • Back in the 90's there was a game called "Stunt Racer" for the Acorn in the UK. They had a vertical track hammer, I made mine rotary instead.

  • ^^ there is also new game similar to "Stunt Racer" and its callec "Crashday" you can see one video of this game on my profile :)

  • Very nice 5/5, those cars are yours?

  • No, the cars are available for free download all over the net. The simulation is not created with the hi-poly models as it would take too long to solve, so I created super-low poly versions for the sim and replaced the meshes with hi-poly for rendering.

  • yay ! :D i was waiting for this :D 5/5 + fav

  • It's been a while in production. Thanks for your patience!

  • can you make little tutorial how to do this ?

and PM me the page where you get the cars :) i cant find it anywhere :(

  • I'm not so good at making tutorials, but I'll see if I can make something when I have time.

  • thanks :)
