  • This is the site of the tomb of Lord Pakal. Pakal, according to the maya,he came from the sky, was 10 feet tall and white with pale blue eyes. He became their king and was worshipped as a god. When archeologists attempted to open his tomb and see if he was really an E.T., the mexican gov stepped in and shutdown the dig. To this day, nobody has been allowed to examine the body. If they want to disprove this as myth, they should allow it to be examined, or maybe they are afraid it will be true.

    Yes, I have already heard of that. Their contact with Americans extended from the Eastern US to Peru.

  • viva Chiapas...I've been there and it was the best experience ever. You need at least three weeks to cover Chiapas. Too bad, I couldn't cover "La selva lacandona."
