  • @jjamendoza dosen't matter hoe big that slag is if u want to make a remix u make it and Fuck the artist off cuz the remix is made solely cuz the music artists have made is shit which gives any sh the excuse

  • How was he able to release this when Alicia Keys is a pretty big name.

  • @jjamendoza Unofficial white label release.

  • @jjamendoza he didn't release this

  • Wow. The actual"Drumstep" youtube channel name.

  • Will you assholes please shut the fuck up about Skrillex on every fucking goddamn dubstep video comment section? This is a Mala video....NO ONE FUCKING CARES WHETHER YOU LIKE SKRILLEX OR HATE HIM. You twats are as predictable as the 15 year old 4chan Xbox nerds on here who wanna use words like "faggot" and "n*gger" to prove how tough they are.

  • @superzenith the USA is the worst thing that ever happened to dubstep

  • @superzenith shut up you faggot nigger skrillex iz gay!

  • lovely track!!! different felling!

  • @kingvictoe fail.

  • the sound of falling in love.

  • My girlfriends name is Alicia. This now makes me want to make out with her.

  • could someone link me to this song in flac format?

  • don't like to brag lads but as of today I am a proud owner of this record

  • @hellomateyinnit It costs bare, wish I could afford that man.

  • This has close to 500,000 views, Scary Monsters has over 57,000,000... What is wrong with this world.

  • @redderious agreed

  • @redderious

I don't want to live on this planet anymore :(

  • @redderious

Makes you feel good being part of an ill minority tho.

Not quite as good as this song.. but still pretty good

  • @redderious The United States of America.

  • straight up fuck brostep.

  • 54 who disliked this listen to brostep.

  • I listen to all types of music, yes I even listen to a bit of Skrillex (Don't see anything wrong with that myself), but damnnnnnn there's something about Mala which keeps me coming back more than anything, this and 'Education' are two of the very best dubstep tunes for me (Y)

  • can anyone recommend other tunes like this?

    amazing.

  • @saas3814 i cant think of any other dubstep tracks quite like this...but, the album 'Nightmares on wax-smoker's delight' might leave you satisfied.

  • This speaks to my soul. Amazing work of art here.

  • I love skrillex. People love skrillex. Dubstep hipsters get over it.

  • @noyesnoyup

    why can't i

    like them both?

why does enjoying music that doesn't happen to be new make me a hipster? I listened to a whole hell of a lot of music from the twenties when I was a baby. Nobody accused me of being a hipster then. people are too caught up in labels.

    "old dubstep" and "brostep/newstep"

I like electronica. I like music. Call it what you like, but as they say, a rose by any other name..

  • @noyesnoyup Nope, Skrillex is just SCCCCRRREEEEEE-WUBWUBWUBWUB-SCREEEEEEEEEE

This actually is pleasant to the ears.

  • @noyesnoyup People love Justin Bieber, but I dont want people getting confused that I like him when I say I like RnB or PBR n B when I like say the Weeknd. In fact I don't enjoy talking about Justin Bieber ever. This is analagous to skrillex who is bro-step/electro dubstep. I don't like when people think they relate to me when I say I like dubstep when in reality they like artists such as him and flux. I understand and am fine with people liking him, but don't get confused with very diff genres.

  • 2 much chat on this video

  • i've come to the conclusion that most dubstep fans have an extremely baised perception of the evolution of their music. being a music theory major, i find great enjoyment in reading these posts haha cuz you guys are very narrow-minded. =p

Change and progression is life. And there is no such thing as "bad" or "sucky" music. Just because you dont like it, it doesn't mean its bad. Smh.... you kids must think you are so "cool" haha its cool, ignorance is funny to me =)

  • @DopeListenin nice you must be so smart to realize that!!!! ..... no for real opinions are opinions. they VARY!! and i agree. people freak out about oh this isnt dub step cuz of this or that... who gives a rats ass!! skream throws in a 4x4 line every once in awhile. does that make him not dubstep? as far as the brostep dubstep thing? i just laugh dude.... so dumb. hmm where these lyrics MADE for THIS song? no? ok then theres a form of dub for you freaks attacking this. shut up and listen already

  • @DopeListenin Exactly. Music, almost by definition is subject to, well, subjectivity. It's all perspective, and opinion. Bad music doesn't exist, and nor does good music. Or any art, creation, just everything for that matter, because the world, including music, is perceived by the individual.

  • @DopeListenin "Just because you dont like it, it doesn't mean its bad." That music theory major seems to be working out real swell.

  • Dubstep is nothing like metal or rock or any of that crap, skrillex just calls his music dubstep so people get an incorrect assumption that dubstep is electronic scream/metal crap.

  • @Hisssna

it was just a comparison between genres. brostep is like metal in that it is loosely based off of dubstep much like how metal rock is very loosely based off of jazz. without dubstep, there would be no brostep. without jazz, there would be no metal rock.

  • I think people get so uppity about "their genre" because they're insecure and focus their identity on being an "insider" who's in the know. And once something is mainstream it's suddenly garbage, and any growth in the genre is somehow wrong- especially if people like it!

  • @wst

it's not growth, its an entirely different genre. brostep is very loosely based off of dubstep. think of it more of like a father and son relationship instead of a single growing and changing person.

  • We listening to A44A :P

  • every channel i go into i see everybody fighting about a genre

why cant you guys shut up and admit that the genre is growing and expanding?

sure its not what is used to be but still

    its taking over

and i rather here dubstep artists like mala kode 9 skream benga etc. than hearing lil wayne and all this rap bullshit on the radio nowadays

  • @kennykiloz

the genre isn't changing, brostep is an entirely different genre thats just very loosely based off of dubstep. very very loosely based.

  • nice chillout

  • Probably my favorite track in a long, long time. I've been listening to alot Mala and Suhk Knight for this more sexy, chill type dubstep, but even alot of their material isn't quite like this. Are there any other dubstep artists I might be able to get the same fix from? What're you guys listening to that's chill?

  • @katinkers check out my channel ;)

  • @katinkers try kromestar and jay 5ive. they got some sounds similar to this.

  • @katinkers

    Hungry Dub by Kromestar.

  • @katinkers Try Von D, or some Synkro or Silkie =)

  • @katinkers - try all yours - submotion orchestra - jack sparrow remix

  • @katinkers Listen to EL-B. That's realy nice. Cluekid also has an more relaxing sound.

  • @katinkers El-B. father of dubstep.

  • @katinkers I think the R&B sample that Mala uses is what makes this track so special. I think more artists need to infuse this R&B styling and deep dubstep bass.

  • @katinkers hey man if your into dubstep/uk bass but want to sit back and chill look up stuff by Asa, Submotion Orchestra, Burial, some Breakage, ummmm Kito, some of Reso's tunes and id say Skream has some tunes out like this one especially on his first LP!

  • @katinkers Try Silkie.

  • @katinkers try mount kimbie, burial, joy orbison, ramadanman, appleblim, peverelist, martyn for a more mature dubstep sound

  • @katinkers Listen to guido mad sax

  • @katinkers Listen to a few cluekid tracks, not quite as mellow as this

  • @katinkers you can listen to phaeleh or silkie!

  • this is really beautiful

  • Comment removed

  • all you fuckers need to hate on my track Locos

  • @pitchBlackInk- i was pretty lost in the names and the place that you were talking about, however this tune has brought me to the RIGHT place.

  • @mndeg old jazz is not 1950's and 60's. think duke ellington, go back man, far back. sorry to open a can of worms

  • Мягко))

  • Here's my opinion on dubste: this is dubstep, and skrillex is dubstep. If I can quote that little mexican girl from the commercial: "Why can't we have both?" It's perfectly fine to have softer AND harder versions of the same genre, it doesn't make one kind better or worse for being different. Some may think Skrillex is better, and some may think Mala is better. I say shut up and enjoy the music.

  • @Auribro May I touch your lips? Best way anyone could describe it.

    May Mala/DMZ bless you.

  • I've been listening to what UKF puts up, no idea this stuff was out there, i like it

  • @SuperRainbowDash64 go find the roots of this genre and go search up the music ukf is crap even for the harder style dubstep...avoid anything that sounds like skrillex doctor p zomboy borgore or you've gone too far (dont get lost ;S)... its a big place

  • @SuperRainbowDash64 Do me a favour and NEVER listen to anything UKF puts up. It doesnt even qualify as real/proper dubstep. Listen to anything DMZ has to do with and youll find the real music. Virtually all the producers in the related videos are the ones you want to listen to for dubstep >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • @Doodganjaman "Real dubstep" Why do you keep throwing around that term? All of the dubstep you hear is real dubstep, you just don't like it. Why can't we have soft, chill dubstep like this that you like, and the more hardcore version that the other person likes? I think you just want to hate anything that you don't love, and criticize anyone who doesn't like things you like.

This is dubstep, that's dubstep. It's all dubstep, just different kinds. Stop fliping your shit n listen.

  • @Goldbloodeddragon But the dubstep you hear on the radio, majoritably is not REAL dubstep. You know why? Because its called Dubstep for a reason... DUB influenced 2-step tunes... Where do you hear anything dub related in high pitched screechy wobble shite that you hear played on radio one by the likes of the utterly terrible 'DJ' that is zane lowe? There is no dub... And thats why its not dubstep... Let it officially be called brostep and ill be fine, i wont bother the bros.

  • @Doodganjaman You DO realize that there are two parts to the dubstep right? All of the "brostep" as you call it (the term really pisses me off by the way) still has 2-step influences, and some of it still keeps dub influences (The Freq - Roots).

  • @Goldbloodeddragon 2 Parts to dubstep... Exactly... The DUBSTEP and the BROSTEP

  • @Doodganjaman But why is it called Brostep? That's the part that makes me mad, because it implies that only douches listen to it. Which they don't by the way. I think @DopeListening said it best here.

  • @Goldbloodeddragon Who made the universal definition of bro, douche. Anyways look up rusko, who is the one who practically invented it,and also has said in interviews regrets doing so. Its also called electrodubstep if you prefer that though. If you're interested on why people get mad about about brostep vs dubstep, its because electrodubstep is pop music, and for similar reasons to people not liking the top 40 or radio music, people who like dubstep, usually don't like brostep for the most part

  • @Goldbloodeddragon

soft chill = dubstep much like soft chill = jazz

hardcore version = brostep much like hardcore = metal rock

now if you're saying jazz = metal rock, you need to go fuck yourself in the ears because it's not like you're using them correctly anyways.

  • @papercowmoo Metal rock wasn't derived shortly after and because of jazz though.

  • @Goldbloodeddragon

yeah it was a good 50 or so years, but to say it isn't because of jazz is just ignorant.

  • @papercowmoo Did I say that?

  • This shit too soft... Needs a base line dirtier than the inside of a microwave on high behind a field goal post after a baby was wrapped in tin foil and punted through

  • @JayVonTay345 tin foil sucks for that

  • @JayVonTay345 there's a kind of dubstep for that, let's not get the two mixed up

  • @JayVonTay345 go listen to skrillex. this is mellow music for mellow moods

  • @JayVonTay345 If you came here thinking you were going to get your head blown off from insane basslines, think again. That is not what dubstep is about. You wouldn't want someone to scream at you for 20 minutes, would you? Dubstep is meant to be enjoyed, not to be attacked by.

  • @jsulpice4 what if we enjoy dubstep that blows our heads off?

  • @jsulpice4 ha the words of skream himself

  • @jsulpice4 True that

  • @JayVonTay345 nah it doesn't.

  • @JayVonTay345 You are literally a retard. I would love to see your top 5 dubstep artists. I bet it goes something like this... Skrillex/Skream/Nero/Flux P/Rusko

  • Been listening to Dubstep for several years now, only properly in the last year or so (after realising Dubstep wasn't all screeches and screams) and am completely ashamed to say I've never listened to Mala. Been on a little Dubstep binge on the last hour or so and really really loving these vibes... As my Outlook family would say:

    NO BASS, NO PARTY. :)

  • @LxBond7 I am literally ashamed that you have listened to it for several years and have only just found REAL dubstep. Ive been listening to it for several years and only a couple of months ago discovered shit screechy tunes filling up the scene

  • @VEC7ORlt thanks man

  • Anyone know where the sample is from?

  • @dyrp1 Alicia Keys - Feelin' Me, Feelin' You

  • Wow

  • Love to the fam! stay true!

  • This is baby making music! so much love for this track =]

  • Peace all

Not intending to spam, but if you like Old School Dubstep like this then you'll probably like the stuff I upload on My Channel. Thanks Guys!

  • i listen to dub for 4years now and everyday i say to myself

what is dubstep :D my answer is it can be EVERYTHING :D

-skream,distance,coki,mala,benga,digital mysticks, docter p excision and so an i can name up at least 100 dubstep artist and have over 5000 dubstep songs and im pretty sure i lheard all of them dont know why im telling dis but this song made me say my opinion

cheers !!! and remember DUBSTEP CAN BE EVERYTHING so put all the hate in a ball and leave it aside!!! :P

  • sooo mellow

  • mmmmm,tasty...

  • wooooooooooooooooooow

  • this is just beautiful.

  • I like how I could give a shit less about genre. Especially when it comes to this amazing song.

  • Stop talking about Skrillex. He's nobody.

  • @symmasyrf if he were nobody you wouldn't care whether anyone was talking about him

  • @symmasyrf but everyone knows him..

  • @symmasyrf Skillex is so overated

  • FUCK A GENRE

  • i looooove alicia keys

but i have to say that this one is also a good remix

  • omg guyz what kind of music is this? it's fucking good music. yay!

  • @TakeNotesPlease dubstep. feel the love my friend, feel the love.

  • House = how, typo.

  • House is skrillex anything house? Ultra facepalm. Stop using genres names you don't understand guys.

  • @mndeg He's definitley not dubstep.

  • @n0nexistantusername I believe the technical name for Skrillex's genre is "brostep"

  • @shoesaroo

clubstep... is i think what u call this new electro/dubstep/filth that is blowing up right now. I wish there was more a la DMZ in north america :P

  • @shoesaroo no it skrillex's genre is electro

  • Old jazz is best jazz... 1950's and 6-'s were the best decades for jazz.

  • mala is a big producer but this song is best untouched i think

  • Comment removed

  • Much better than that "dubstep" that's currently breaking ground. Waaaaayyyy more relaxing, smoother basslines and no aggression in it!

I like 1 or 2 songs by skrillex and his companions and I sure as hell raved like a mofo on one of his gigs but this is, this is something beyond that.... something those skrillex kids will not understand. Oh and @metal40050 just to be clear, if someone has 100 million fans, it doesn't makes this person every bit as good. Look at Hitler, he had alot of fans...

  • After all these years, I ALWAYS come back to this to get some peace of mind.

  • Can't believe people are having a debate about Skrillex.. someone who's got absolutly nothing to do with any kind of scene evolving round this tune.. stop ruining this vibe.

  • metal40050 is a turd.

  • The only good music Drumstep has ever uploaded is Skream - Filth. The rest is just horrible shit jazz

  • @metal40050 I have never commented on videos before but I felt compelled to write and say you are an absolute dickhead. You know nothing of Dubstep and it's origins. Do your homework. Dubstep is not all wobbles and distorted to fuck screaming basslines.

  • @metal40050 Now had to comment on this cuz, no offense intended, you are tottally wrong. It's not because someone, that everyone listens to his music or even because that the play it on the radio that it is good without any doubts. You sure do have to go with your time but that doesn't mean you have to follow the mass and love everything the mass is loving without questioning it. You still have the right to think for yourself and find out what YOU think is good music. Peace

  • @metal40050 Rock and Roll was Blues before it was Rock and Roll. This will always, always be dubstep, and the direction that Rusko started and Skrillex way overdid will soon become something else entirely so they can stop using the term dubstep to water down the quality of the genre. Music evolves, but having dubstep with no elements of dub OR step (see: Skrillex) just isn't fucking dubstep.

  • @Auribro Then what genre should i call skrillex?

  • @metal40050 "Unlistenable shit"

  • @metal40050 house/electro. Also, terrible.

  • Comment removed

  • @metal40050 if you (or anyone else, for that matter) ever ever ever use the term "dubstep" to describe Skrillex, you don't deserve ears.

  • @Auribro Skrillex does produce dubstep though?

  • @YellowCanVlogs Okay. I'll bite. Show me one Skrillex song that is rooted in or has any influences from Jamaican dub and UK garage 2-step drums.

  • @Auribro nicely put

  • @metal40050 Skrillex is being called brostep, or elecro house, but he has NO elements of dubstep in any form :L

  • Comment removed

  • @metal40050 My god dude how old are you?

  • @Auribro i would agre w ith you dude.

  • @Auribro what's step? xD

  • @Auribro Say what you wanna say :). I will still call skrillex dubstep. Try to stop me, Like a boss

  • @metal40050 More like a complete utter retard.

  • @metal40050

What's next, are you going to say "come at me bro"?

  • @rush68 dahahaa

  • @Auribro Skrillex IS dubstep, just a different kind. The "better" part is different from person to person, but he is dubstep.

  • @Goldbloodeddragon he is not dubstep he is jst a part of it

  • @KddRbbt Come on you know that's what I meant.

  • @Auribro i dont think he overdid it but youre right, its time 4 filth to nolonger be a subgenra and become its omw genra

  • @metal40050

    10/10

    they're so mad

  • @metal40050 'Old Jazz is terrible' Says it all about you really.

  • @metal40050 ur a fucking dordy mate

  • @metal40050 look at ur name metal40050 thats y u like scrillex u absolute melt

  • @xJLEvanss Well, I created this account in 2008. I was a kid then. I dont listen to metal any more.

  • @metal40050 go listen to bullet for my valentine or skrilex or whatever shit u emos listen to these days

  • @xJLEvanss Emos dont listen to skrillex. Emos listen to tokio hotel, slipknot. damn

  • I love dubstep! I think skrillex is the best dubstep band out there. You should check her out!

  • @in2hiphop Your a faggot. Skrillex makes really good music. And its HE not her. And fail skrillex is not even dubstep. Skrillex is really good but its not dubstep. learn genre

  • @metal40050 FIRST OF ALL. It is you are so it would be you're, second of all; i am a dubstep pro i think i know my genres. Now go listen to peter pan.

  • @in2hiphop Genre pro? I didnt say you where bad. If you understand it like so, Then you say your genre pro and really do think that skrillex is dubstep. get it? Skrillex is electro/popstep not dubstep. And skrillex is a male. He didnt say that he make dubstep. Its the peoples who say that.

  • @metal40050 Skillrex is terrible. end of story you muppet. the fuck you even doing on a Mala video?

  • Is there a sample involved? If it is, I'd love to know. :D

  • a chilled joint and this before bed <3
