I have no idea where this idiotic comparison between Pink Floyd and MGMT originated, but MGMT has released 1 record as MGMT so far. It's an amazing record, but Pink Floyd made 14 amazing records. Most of them are unanimously considered masterpieces. Darkside of the Moon anyone? The Wall? Meddle? Seriously MGMT is great but there is no saying that they are better than Pink Floyd this early in their career.
