  • what movie was he making here???

  • @eddierocks01 "Tetro"

  • My best film with Vincent Gallo.

    Tessa.

  • @xTazerx Good job fucking idiot. You've managed to become completely blind to beauty. This was a great film.

  • @DJQuips Weird because i never wrote this? Wow, someone hacked my account? Strange...

  • great video de la boca

  • why are there so many people advertising these sites.

  • have to say, after seeing the color of this video after watching Tetro...I get the itch to see Tetro all in color. (Many scenes are done in color...Tetro has a mix of B&W and color)

Vincent...you really brought it...(as Mickey Rourke would say) The whole cast is wonderful. I have more to say, but will wait a month for you guys to see it first...

  • Saw this last night. Grgeous, fascinating film. Vincent Gallo finally takes you all the way in...but Francis helps by writing a great story. Problem at the Kabuki theatre here in San Francisco, is that the right fourth of the screen is out of focus for the whole time. Isn't this 2009? We're still dealing with this nonsense after all the new theatre technology and lens design. What an annoyance. Francis...do something!

  • Coppola drinking Yerba Mate? Priceless.

BTW- La Boca is the "Little Italy" of Argentina for those who don't know.

  • I was about to say!

  • @perrone305 Nope, la boca is NOT THE LITTLE ITALY" in Argentina. Is a place as Coppola said perfectly. A mix of immigrant. Not Italian area" I'm from there, and from Boca Jr.

  • excellence.

  • Nice to see Coppola going back to his roots as a more personal filmmaker after his commercial period. I enjoyed his last film Youth Without Youth.

  • Yeah, I saw it too. He was drinking yerba mate (this term here in Brazil is called chimarrão) in La Boca and the video is to the sound of tango, it's very Cult. I like it very much. I WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!

  • How can a video just released be VERY CULT?

A cut video, movie, tv show or whatever has nothing to do with CULTURED, CLASSY or what-have you...it has to do with GENERATING faithful fans throughout the years, people who keep watching it via rerurns, etc ......

  • I was kidding. Just kidding. I don't know what is cult and what is not. Big deal!

  • Calm down, Trevisan...if you do not know what a word or expression means, why get upset when someone teaches you?

  • No, I wasn't upset. I was just thinking that you weren't understand what I was talking about. Sorry, if I was wrong about it.

  • @diuga1 Just butting in but: Where'd this Trevisan business come from? That's my family's surname on my mother's side!

  • @NicosNicosNicosNicos I am Trevisan, my grandfather's family came from Italy. So what? It's not so interesting at all, are too many italian families in Brazil.

  • @rtms1988 Bobagens! It's fascinating. There aren't so many Trevisans in London though.

  • this looks amazing! and i really like Vincent.. he looks great, good choice!

  • It looks like an absolutely gorgeous location - so colourful and vibrant. I'm looking forward to finding out more about the project. :)

  • So great to see Coppola on YouTube as I wrote on the other video that he did. This looks like an interesting movie. And I like how the location has a very old-fashioned look to it. I love old fashioned things.

  • go go go Coppola !!!

  • Looks like another beautiful and artistic film from the king of American cinema, our hero and risk taker Francis Ford Coppola.

  • diggin what you're doing!! ...inspiring to me you are!

  • Nice little EPK.

  • Thanks for releasing footage on your current film! Last time I visited your set it was in Petaluma for "When Peggy Sue Got Married"

  • The look and feel of the neighborhood as a backdrop looks great!

  • I loved Argentina, this movie will be great no doubt.

  • this movie is gonna be a classic! I sense it. It's gonna be one of those Coppola movies I watch over and over. Buenos Aires has the atmosphere for this story. I can hardly wait to see Tetro.

  • Great that you reuploaded this Vlog. Now, instead of being distracted by the soft, I see the fantastic colors jump off the screen in HD.

If you ever need someone with a good eye and who hates yes men . . . well, you know where to find me.

    ;-{)

  • Is nice to watch things without sound too,it can increase your viewing pleasure.....

  • what a great idea uploading these videos on youtube mr . coppola. And oh i'm sure it must be the first time you hear this in your life but. you're an amazing director, can't wait to see tetro.

  • This is going to be a piece of artwork. I can only wish to be like you one day, Mr. Coppola.

  • Wow that looks like a beautiful place to film so much colour and character, looks magical, calm and undisturbed, thankyou for forwarding.....

By the way whats Mr Coppola got in his hand at the end and vincent looks great in plaster....

  • Sr Coppola was drinking yerba mate - look it up on wikipedia. It's the favorite drink here in Argentina - bitter but good for you.

  • Thankyou blmurch......

  • I"m always fascinated at what goes on behind the scenes and what the director has in mind.

  • Excellent...Thank you so much for showing us a part of the backstage...

  • La Boca is beautiful!

  • What's Tetro gonna be about?

  • I rivalry between 2 artistic Argentinian families, sounds like an interesting concept.

  • Nope, it's rivalry within 1 artistic family.
