I googled 'Die Hard Trilogy' on a nostalgia kick, recalling that my friends and I loved the Die Hard 2 section but didn't like the other sections. Seeing your review, I think all that may have been based on the difficulty of each game. Which is your favourite section, or did you already answer that in the review and I missed it?

This was one of the very first things I ever played on the PS1 at my cousins house.. all the way back in 1997. This was on the very first PS1 demo that came free with the PS1... brings back so many memories...

on that disc was also crash bandicoot and tekken!

I went into a charity shop to see if they have any PSone games, I don't shop in charity shops it's just they are the only place that sell really cheap PSone games near me, and there was Die Hard Trilogy. I was gonna buy it but the there was a big scratch on the front of the disc and I didn't like the look of it. It was only 99p so I might just risk it.

I bought Gran Turismo 2 in there yesterday and the quality of the condition is amazing. Looks and feels brand new.

MW2 instantly reminded me of Die hard trilogy.

Both the airport terminal level, and the snowmobile level, i wouldnt be that surprised if it inspired those 2 levels.

Great review. A fantastic game.

One thing I will disagree about tho is about the use of a light gun for Die hard 2. I had one which worked really well on die hard 2, forgot the name of it but it looked like judge dredds gun but was grey. It was very accurate and worked fine for me.

Oh and i never completed die hard 3, was too hard. Die hard 1 was my fav

Question, do you happen to know the name of and if or where I could get the song that plays during the Gratuitous Violence part? I remember that from both the Demo I got on an old demo disk and the main game itself, and its my favorite song in the game along with Dulles Airport.

alright thanks. it was an ok game back in the day. but even though sometimes the sound and game play lagged back on ps1 it was still good for back in the day. due to there were some bugs needed to be worked out in 3d gaming. its just amazing though how they went from the ataris before most of our times to the 8, 16 and 32bit gaming systems to todays hi def and blu ray its awesome. and now the vr type games with wii and eyetoy. whats next in gaming tech? who knows

I have talked to you much about this game in the past. It is one of the greatest movie tie ins created and its so diffrent from anything else that i have seen.

three games in one all damn good fun what more could you want.

oh an i have completed all 3 control pad only and yes shooting while moving is very very hard.

A must buy if they ever release it on playstaion network.

I have a PSX mouse. I bought it from a friend for a shiny penny. He was going to bin it. We laughed about it.

Came in handy for the point and click games though. Maybe I'll try Die Harder with it :)

It's so much easier. A lightgun is... well a lightgun. A control pad is generally too sensitive. But with a mouse you can be as precise as you like.
