Quetzalcaotl was not white and only Motecuzoma thought Cotez was a god... most of his people didn't buy it and neither did most Native Americans in general. Also...Motecuzoma was corrupt and he was kinda flamboyant. Also..the Spanish had a LOT of help from enemy tribes.
