thats really innaccurate especially considering all Nader does is run on the platform of the Democratic Party against the Democratic Party. Pretty lame if u ask me and all i see it doing is dividing the left. Yeah. Nader is really pissing me off with his attitude and repulses me now as much as Clinton. u might not accept the realities of your actions and their consequences however those we're up against surely do and constantly manipulates you.
I used to think the same thing as you. I was and still am a Nader supporter. But after spending a lot of time looking into Ron Paul's ideas and philosophy, I've come to the conclusion that he would be a superior president than Nader. Look him up for yourself... watch him speak. Nader is a socialist and socialism doesnt work. Paul is a constitutionalist.
Nader is not a socialist, if you care at all about accuracy in definition. State socialism requires state ownership of all or most means of production and duistribution of goods and services.
Agreed. Many people are not well informed at all and that could partly explain why so many have been manipulated for so long by representative government and all the other corrupting agents of present politics. (money... exc.)
Socialism, state socialism, at any rate involves by definition state ownership of the means of production and state employement of all people providing necessary services.
That's why I qualified my remark with the term STATE socialism. Worker ownership might be called libertarian socialism. For "ideal" terminology see on Youtube "Noam Chomsky Government in the Future."
Neither does state capitalism. Too much concentration of private wealth. Look atb the stats. The super rich really are getting filthy rich and the incomes the middle class are plummeting. More falling below poverty level.
I would like to see a series of debates featuring Ron Paul versus people like Dean, Nader, and all comers. It would make it so obvious that Giuliani and Romney and Hillary and Obama are all shuck and jive.
I wish that broad would shut up and let them talk.

well what do you consider federal funding, federal loans, public healthcare, social security if its not socialism?

not at all. True socialism is WORKERS owning the means of production, not the state.

I totally agree, other politicians seem insignificant next to Ralph Nader.

this is why the two parties don't want nader in the debates...he puts the other parties to shame.

Third-ed? Guys like Nader, Paul, Perot, etc though differing in politics at least offer a CLEAR vision, and true character.
