Good question! The beauty of unRAID is that all the drives can be totally different capacities! You can always replace smaller drives with larger ones later on down the road...

Nice vid. I'm trying to build my own beast. One question, do the drives have to be the same capacity or can i build a pool from different sized hard drives?

great video! i'd like to see more on the "Beast". I currently have mid tower case with an old duo core moboand 4gb of ram. it consists of 6tb=4tb storage+2tb parity. how much was your setup??.i need to expand my sata slots to add more lol
