  • CHOJI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You really have to be your character.

  • God I love his Voice Love Ninja Turtles and In Love with Michelangelo and its totally there.

    MELTS!

  • Chip on his shoulder?

  • All I see is Michelangelo

  • Penn Jillette's evil twin brother

  • @salmonmachine I thought Penn was the evil twin.

  • pizza dudes got thirty seconds. HAHA

  • OMG... It's Michelangelo, from the teenage mutant ninja turtles movies!!!

  • Huummmannn Boulder

  • His advice is spot on, even if he looks cra zaaaa zyyy.

  • See this is the kind of advice I'm talking about. If it's hard, difficult, and altogether frustrating as heck, just say it.

  • Cousin Oliver!

  • IT'S MICHAELANGELOOOooooO!!!!!!! :-)

  • what an asshole haha! practice makes perfect everyone! all it takes is determination :)

  • @CrystallyzeD Wil Wheaton does this kind of work and would disagree with you. It's a closed community at the high end, they hire from within mostly and by word of mouth only and it's very difficult. Networking is the key, naturally determination is required for any task but it's important to open doors firstly.

  • @bullmeecham which is why it seems like Grey Delisle is never out of work?

  • @Superstarseven I suppose being sexy opens doors too.

  • @bullmeecham Well...I don't think that matters much when you're recording alone in a booth with only a director and engineer outside. Although it seems that a certain sound a voice actor may have falls out of favor after a time. Think about how much you heard Rob Paulsen and Tress Macneille in the 90's compared to now. They're still very versatile, fine actors but the only time I consistently hear Tress now is on The Simpsons.

  • @CrystallyzeD Yes it takes determination and practice. He didn't say anything different. All he said was that often people think that doing voice overs is a walk in the park. It's not. It's the hardest acting there is, period. So why call him an asshole? He's only saying the truth.

  • @TucoRamirez2 It's like someone telling you that you have cancer and there's no way you can possibly beat it in the most obnoxious way ever. You can not say for sure if this is the truth or not since it's all really a matter of opinion no matter how you want to decorate the differences between voice acting and regular acting. Everyone is different. Plus, this guy's whole tone and know-it-all herp derp attitude sucks balls from the get go. I'm standing by it. Get over guys, it's not that serious.

  • LOL he doesn't even need to change his voice he still sounds like Mike From TNT! LOL mikey was always my fav tutrtle COWABUNGA!

  • i really dunno if i have the voice to...but i would love to try voice acting for animated movies or even English dubbing animes. but im afraid that my voice sounds as bad as it does on the phone, (i listened to a voice recording of it from a message and it wasnt so good lol) but i really want to try, maybe i can practice?

  • dude, you sound like mickey mouse,,, i don't get it

  • I never realized Michaelangelo from the Movies was Cousin Oliver from the Brady Bunch.

  • CHOJI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whiz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kidd video!

  • Voiceover must be indeed a hard craft to master.

  • ye whatever, mikey hahaha legend

  • why does he have a scrotum on his chin?

  • did penn gillette have an abortion?

  • @angryniggah Ha! I was just thinking he looked a bit like Penn myself! He sounds a lot like Sam Kinison, however.

  • @JoshSitar robbie rist is quite possibly the greatest voice over actress of our generation...neh, greatest voice over of all time...neh-neh, greatest actor of all time...neh-neh-neh, greatest stage presence of all time...neh-neh-neh-neh...robbie is the second coming! you can't spell Christ without rist!!!

  • CHOJI!

  • This guy is just complaining and not really offering any tips!

  • this guy voiced michaelangelo in tmnt :)

  • So.... where's the tips?

  • i love it when he says yeahhh

  • Hey that's not Robbie Rist ? What happened to the adorable little boy with the blonde hair and the sweet churubic face? LOL

  • Looking for a voice over job in animation............go to jamesjuma1 to hear my various voices,,,,,,,,will create ANY voice you need..........Thank you

  • KIDD VIDEO!! I knew this guy looked familiar.

  • hahahahaha same old cousin oliver. YOU KILLED THE BRADY BUNCH!!! lol just kidding.

  • damn i thought he'd sound diffrent from his character iggy from initial D but he sounds exact!

  • such a rad voice

  • is it wierd he still has the same hair style from when he was on the Brady Bunch?

  • is it just me or does the blue girl at 0:52 look exactly like the blue girl from the avatar poster

  • oh my god. he's the voice of Michaelangelo from the original TMNT movie!!!!

  • You gotta respect a man who takes his work serious. Saying that he's ugly is also uncalled for and juvenile.

This guy along with other skilled voice actors bring good things to the table. Never under estimate talent and skill. And definitely, don't be jealous.

  • It's not that bad, when you work for it of course. It can be quite fun.

  • So freakin true ..It's all about acting and it is the Hardest acting!!

  • Oh, no question. I remember when I had to do voluntary voice over work when I was taking a college in communications. My character was dying, and I had to literally lie down on the floor, and record my lines there, even though no one is going to "see me" on camera. Sometimes you have to do gestures in order to make it sound real. In the case of Ian James Corlett, my God, the man can deliver his lines with his hands in his pockets. I tried that, and it just doesn't work for me. :(

  • It was probably in LA, so yes

  • hes choji from naruto

  • I want to be like him! The glint in his eye looks livelier than the dull glow in the average cubicle-dweller's face.

  • Comment removed

  • MIKEY!!

  • @greenrangerv1 Haha, yea man. Closed my eyes and there he was, cowabunga!

  • Next to Steven Blum, He's a legend!

  • Actually, he sounds A LOT like Elijah Wood!

  • He seems a friendly (slightly angry) chap!

  • Oliver from Brady Bunch. God he was such an annoying little actor ...I see some things never change. Still full of himself.

  • Chouji and Michelangelo both like to eat a lot

  • i can hear Choji Akamichi from naruto

  • Robbie sounds so cool!

  • The Turtles Rock.

  • what this guy is saying is exactly right! However it seems to me as if he is insinuating that its IMPOSSIBLE to be....and that you have to be GIFTED...hahaha...NO ROBBIE RIST! you can practice and get an agent! fool

  • @shayan365 I believe it's pretty much as a warning or wake up call to anyone that thinks voice over work is a Mickey Mouse course, and I take heed to his advice because gifted as he is I'm sure he's seen a whole lot of people think they have what it takes when they really need what you suggested:practice.

  • All I can hear is Michaelangelo!

  • Michelangelo Is My Favorite Turtle.

  • XD especially when he says "yea"

  • great

  • that person is from balto he played in balto as star the sled dog

  • HAVE found some work via this site, thx 4 ET!!!

  • its really really nice

  • Very great website

  • a very fun actor

  • where the hell was this shot? Is that a plastic bag caught in the tree behind him?

  • Well said Robbie. These days anyone with a decent mic and a computer is suddenly a "voice-Actor". Another problem is all the new inexperienced so-called "Producers" don't know a great delivery when they hear it and for the lowest fee.

  • Don't forget the effect of 'clebrities' taking over as VO artists.

Dude. gene hackman as an Oscar. Does he REALLY need to do VO?

  • I love him as Michelangelo
