I didnt mean China is equal to UK. The equal sign i put means the whole situation is about the same as IRA fighting for independence of Northern Ireland. Tibet is part of China. The whole world (United Nations) recognize Tibet as part of China. The last time i checked the World Political Map printed by National Geographic, Tibet and the rest of China are marked the same yellow colour.

And i dont know where you learn that Tibet was never part of China. As a tourist, you have to be issued a Chinese visa before entering Tibet, same as other part of China.
If you are defending the Tibetan's call for independence, perhaps at the same time you should find some points to defend the IRA, in order to make your claim more persuasive. Splitting a nation is a big NO NO.

Unfortunatly it is both sides faults for the current violence. You can't blame just one side in this situation. It was to be a peaceful protest but Chinese Soldiers attacked Monks starting the downward spiral. The people in Tibet now have started attacking innocent Chinese citizens which is not right. So like I said both sides are at fault here for the violence.
