Actually malmsteen doesn't have a hollow sound. He's got great vibrato and technique. My biggest complaint with him is that he's repetitive and only used 20 riffs over and over and over again. I love him but I can only take him in small doses

no, he plays cleanly because he's a world-class guitarist. no combination of tone setup/gear will make someone sound clean if they don't have good technique. it's actually harder to play cleanly with a non-distorted tone, which bellas does here masterfully.

The world is littered with folks who can shred. This ain't one of its better examples. FWIW, I've been listening to Bellas for years. When people make these "instructional" tidbit videos, it ain't about the groove, it's about "notes per minute." There is nothing being done here that hasn't been done 5000 times before by many of us.

It's not a song, it is an example showing various techniques he has on his instructional video. Maybe you should listen to some of his actual songs before passing judgement. I assume you can play better and whatnot than george right? That was smart assed actually, because you cant, at all, ever.

Great technique. Obvioulsy a really good player. What I don;t understand is why, 3 seconds into the song...it's already peaking....then it has nowhere to go...and goes nowhere...Too bad it wasn't paced out, and dramatic.
