I've never been out of the U.S. I've looked up a few places that are within a 12 hour drive or so from where I live (Iowa) and this place has always sparked an interest. Hopefully I'll get there one of these summers

Sault Saint Marie looks fun. Thanks for the information. The sleeker locomotive was one of 150,000 F9s built in 1949. But, they do look modern.
