  • Nice. I don't come across this very much especially with Hmong elders

  • for awhile there..i was thinking, hey did he turn on the movie or something?..n like,

    "WHOA DUDE HES PLAYING IT!!O.O!"

so lol,..i would subscribe too if ur dad plays a full song..he's awesome.XD

  • nice playing....

  • Very cool! most Hulusi I have listened to have the drone plugged! I think the drone adds alot to the beauty of the instrument.

  • That's great music to my ears...I can listen FOREVER! You should post more video of him playing full songs...if you do so I'll subscribe!

  • omg O_o this is awsummmmm this is the best ive herd wit the drones enabled wooot go ur dad!! lol

  • its not really hard to blow, you just have to pressurize the gourd with air and then you can blow for a long time without coming up for breath :P

  • YOU SHOULD LEARN IT AND STOP BEING LAZY!! hahah, but what keys are his hulusi?

  • i dunno. hahahaha. my appa does his music by ear. =)

  • ohh, thats gonna be hard to learn then..haha. i prefer musich sheets.

  • Do you know what keys his Hulusi is? is it "C", "F", "bB", or others?

  • His hulusi is in C key.

  • does anyone know which Hulusi keys sounds better? like when played it has a more relaxed sound to it or calm. Can anyone tell me

  • D-key and other hulusis above D are relatively small and are higher pitched. C, B-flat, low F and low G hulusis are larger and have a lower and deeper tone.

Higher pitched hulusis are normally used to play fast and happy melodies while the lower ones are normally used to play much slower and calmer songs.

  • Oops..........

What I meant to say in the first paragraph was:

D-key and other hulusis "BELOW" D are relatively small and are higher pitched. (That means keys of E and high F and high G.)

  • That was AWESOME! Please record him playing the whole thing! Pretty pretty PLEASE! Thanks! 5 star!

  • AHHH!! I LOVE THE SOUNDS OF THOSE FLUTE! It's just so relaxing.
