I really like how you build your cities. Ok maybe building were a bit too close to each other in the imperial age, but still, I liked this video!

I hate how to make this game look great, the bases are always set up in in-efficient ways. And did that house transform into a blacksmith? Perfect example of how things have to be changed to make trailers look better. The second half of the video is more or less how the game actually looks, with buildings scattered around and castles put right into the middle of a plain field to defend instead of built within a sparkling perfect city where they can't reach anything.

Yeah I was wrong about the house-blacksmith, sorry about that. I found out after a second look. The wooden walls turning into stone walls just led me to believe it was some sort of editing. Apparently I just need to get better at making cool looking bases.

Yeah, I care too much about the base's look, and that can lead to defeat when I play in multiplayer.

On easy player vs. AI games I love to see my town grow, so sometimes I just go for wooden walls at first, and then stone ones later... Dunno why, just looks so damn good :D

Haha don't worry I know exactly what you mean. To be perfectly honest, the main reason I play this game most of the time is just to build up a great looking base. I also tend to lose doing that though so I'm trying to find a balance between functionality and looks. In fact I'm going to go play a game right now!
