  • "field strip" the MRE, they come with a lot of bull shit wrapping inside the brown bag that you can discard, it will save you a lot of space

  • Emergency Cologne? iPod? Extra Flashlight? CAMERA? Non-Field stripped MRE? A screwdriver and a multitool? Dude!!!

Cut open the MRE and take everything out of the outer packaging. Keep only the high calorie essentials. Try not to pack extras of stuff. Think about packing alternatives. For instance, carry a lighter and matches. Two lighters is too redundant. You need to pack a BOB with high quality items that will not fail. Not a bunch of duplicate junk. Can you purify water? Heat? Shelter?

  • ok maybe your retarded and totally disregarding the concept of a BUG OUT BAG or i missed the concept of the bug out bag. but i saw many flaws in your video. 1 I i dont know people buy just anything marketed as a "BOB" bag . your bob needs to be fully closed. i know its nice and nifty to have little pockets for everything. but when shit is sticking out of your bag, it can fall out. 2 thats not a BO BAG. that is fanny pack. 2 get rid of the un necessary electronic shit. like that camera

  • @hitmanrich12345 go fuck yourself.

  • If you use the MRE wisely you can get 2 days out of it, 2100 calories total with most of them.Use wisely they do go along way!By no means will you eat like a king, beats going hungry for a day or 2! You can go 3 weeks without food in most situations,ONLY 3 days without water though! Remember RULE OF 3s!

  • can you do a review of the mre

  • I only have 1 and i'm not opening it right now. If I get another in the future (extremely likely) I can create a vid for you.

  • thanks man... i look forward to the vid

  • @duradero9

That MRE is Awesome. But every thing is in its own pouch. If you open it you will be able to readjust everything to give you a little bit of room.

  • good vid!

  • I think you did a good job with your kit so far. Yet I think you should go bigger. 3 day survivalkit is normally the standard 25lbs. Also just a friendly note I would purchase a bivvy sack instead of relying on that little thermal blanket, simply because bivvy sack gives the best protection when your outside trust me I've used both. Other wise great job and keep up the good work.

  • @ramosb523

I hope you're not suggesting a Heatsheets emergency bivvy. I tried to use on of those a while back and it ripped, despite how careful I was being with it. Those things are sucky. I would suggest a hooded sportsmans blanket instead.

  • @RodgeDogg

Not at all the heat sheets as you said are horrible and don't stand up to anything. The thermal bivvy I was referring to is made of the same material of the hooded sportsman blanket, the only difference is that its a sleeping bag (about 6 and a half feet long). I got it for 25 bucks and never thought I'd use it but when the time came it worked well and kept me warm. I actually also have a Hooded sportsman blanket and they work well also.

  • Thanks For The Update.

Cant Waite To See What Else You Stuff In That Bad Boy!!!!

  • nice bob bro wating for updates .

if you want some meal replacement you can buy

some "gainer" its may be good idea

  • Nice. That MRE is massive, yo.
