  • 0:18 to 0:21 seems like Bruno wants to slap some ass LOL But I like him, he's french canadian, like me :D

  • 2:36 - 2:38

Bruno in a TOTALLY Walt Disney World moment! <3

    love love love

  • this is called the feast of fools in english :)

  • 1:38 amazing what his done

  • Самая лучшая версия!!!!

  • OHMYGOD that wink at 3:51 <3 <3 <3

  • Actually it has a title : "La fête des fous"

  • Fete also means party or festival. So maybe the Festival of Fools. Love this song though. And I'm glad you posted it. thanks.

  • C'est magnifique!

  • love gringoire and his sceptics, detached looks...

  • Magnigique.

  • The background props and dancing in this scene are phenomenal. Palettes? Crowd-control gates? It's a stroke of brilliance!

  • Uhm, yes it does.. Why wouldn't it have a title?

  • Le titre: La fête de fous ...

  • ce mec est trop beau et en + il a une voix extraordinaire !!!

  • la fete des fous is the title of this song

  • Sometimes I feel Gringoire did more dancing than Esmeralda did.

Why Quasimodo, Frollo, and Phoebus weren't enchanted by Gringoire's moves and ridiculous good looks, I'll never know.

  • this song is called "la fete des fous"

  • Gringoire is cute!!!

  • Bruno and Garou are just fabulous

  • Actually, this song is called "La fête des fous" - or foux, don't remember the spelling. xD

  • Amazing little Yaaahoooo ! at 2:00 x) !

  • Bruno's presence is amazing! You can just tell he's enjoying himself.

Actually, his attitude in this scene kinda reminds me of Paul Bettany's performance in A Knight's Tale.

  • gringoire est le meilleur personnage de la comédie !!!

il a une voix extraordinaire qui est bourrée d'émotions!!!

    I love him

  • @Queenisgod: it's called 'La fête des fous' which means 'the party of the crazy ones' ;)

  • the title of this song is "La Fête des Fous"

  • The title of this song is : The feast of fools

  • It does have a title, it's "La fête des fous" :)

  • lol what if bruno coughed in the middle of the song while he was singing XD

    sorry random thought

  • mmm gringoire.

  • That celebration is actually called ''Feast of Misrule'' in English.

  • La fiesta de los tontos (8)

  • this song has a title, this song is called Feast Of Fools (La Fête Des Fous in french)

  • Grigoire reminds me oddly of Graverobber from Repo! the Genetic Opera...

  • @ellodahhhling YES! I can definitely see that

  • @ellodahhhling

Graves has better make-up, though. x') It would be interesting to see Bruno and Terrance switch places.

  • Comment removed

  • @ellodahhhling Right? Right?! RIGHT?

Sorry, I'm very excited that someone else noticed the similarity...

  • @ellodahhhling OMG! Exactly! He is one and the same character!

  • @ellodahhhling ahora que lo mensionas, es cierto que los personajes son bastante parecidos

  • super je comprend tout ce que vs dites xd non je lol je pige rien !

  • so, this would be the equivalent to disney topsy turvy day? right on!

  • @xXDarkness101Xx only downside: no pole dancing, fun loving, incredibly smexy clopin. but i guesse i can deal with that....*eye twitch* um.......uh.......GAAH!!!! NO!!!! MUST HAVE CLOPIN!!!!!!!

  • The title is, in face, La Fete des Fous.

  • Isn't it "La Fete Des Fous"?

  • If I was Esmaralda, I loved Gringoire.Bruno is greatest artist.

  • Comment removed

  • poor Quasimodo looked so excited and happy in this song, the only time he seems to be happy. Garou is cute as Quasimodo - I know he's supposed to be ugly and he does a beautiful job of portraying Quasimodo - he's perfect for the role - but I think he look cute, especially in this song.

  • @Nejidabest LOL! I think it's impossible NOT to make Quasimodo cute. No matter how visually grotesque you try to make him, he's still adorable.

  • 0:14-1:00 <3 Gringoire dancing haa :D

  • 0:14 <3

  • You've got it right; this is called La fête des Fous. Love this song.

  • I think the translation would sound better as "The Festival of Fools"

  • My fav!!

  • The french title of this song is "la fête des fous" (translation= "the fools' party")

  • @TheKaena67

But the English interpreter has called is "The feast of fools", because it resembles the French words better.

  • Song is called La fête des fous, yet another great song! The choreography is splendid and the Garou's movements portray Quasimodo perfectly. An excellent way to introduce Quasimodo into the show.

  • I just love how Garou plays Quasimodo. His movements, expressions and voice are all spot on!

  • the name is" the feast of fools" :)

  • @PriscilliaMenoud no its not do you know french? lol its the party of fools. its in the book read it.

  • I love it @0:35!!

  • coolest scene ever. this show is so gorgeous!

  • French version is best. Russian version is just that...they're trying too hard and it's not working out too well. English just sounds like they're yelling in the microphone. French is best. Bruno you rule the show man.

  • ughh esmeralda is such a bitch

  • my favorite song in the whole performance!

  • the name is "la fête des fous"

  • It does have title, it's La fete des fous

  • It's called La fete de fous

  • C'est bien lui le plus moche. C'est le Quasimodo! I love that word... moche! It is just an ugly word!

  • la fete des fous

  • the title is la fète des foux

  • @snuffel007 fou takes an s, not an x

    its like writing foolx

  • @shaneylle sometimes in French you use x for s... It may be one of the exceptions.

  • @leo567890 I am pretty certain this word has an s for an ending! I had a list of "ou" words ending in x and fou is not one of them :D

  • @leo567890 , only the words Pou, chou, caillou, joujou , hibou, genou, bijou, take an X at the plural with the termination ou. For the others it's an S. So, it's fous. =)

  • Bruno!! You are great! like your performing.

  • I just feel like licking on Bruno right now. Like covering him in chocolate and just lick it of him. He's so brilliant.

  • the name is :the feast of fools!!!

  • the title is feast of fools or la fête des fous

  • haha awww quasimodo's face!

  • É uno spettacolo straordinario mi piace moltissimo. L'ho visto a Verona, anche questo era un vero miracolo.

  • If Bruno's there, I am SO going to a party like that!

  • Making Gringoire the narrator was a stroke of genius. He really is a great character, but doesn't have a big enough part in the book. Him as the narrator really gives him a better chance to stand out, plus it makes sense, considering the time the play takes place.

  • @ihartrodatkins I agree completely! It needs a narrator to tie the plot together and Gringoire is the natural choice for a storyteller character. I think he would have stood in for Hugo, if the original had been written in a different form.

  • @Amy3422 I agree too XD

  • Was Denim discovered in that time? so many ppl in the musical wear denim...

  • Does fete translate directly into 'feast?'

  • @Lyriapersiana It translates pretty closely, for feast or party. It's closer to festival.

  • @perfectfeet734 no fête is closer to feast than festival

  • the name of the song is : la fête des fous.

  • This is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the poet has a fantastic voice

  • I love Gringoire's outfit, but i miss the blue jacket. Though...he reminds me of the anime Full Metal Alchemist, sorry, geek moment. Anyway, great voice, even BETTER choreography, and just a FANTASTIC musical overall.

  • i love Gringoire's outfit, his voice, AND the blue jacket which isn't in this scene. Also, when he has his jacket, he kinda reminds me of the anime full metal alchemist...sry....geek moment, but seriously...AWESOME MUSICAL!

  • I love Bruno :D:D <3 He's absolutely great! <3<3 Gringoire forever :D

    I adore his voice... <3

  • The guy who sings this song and the first would make a great grave robber for Repo! Big difference I know lol but he just keeps reminding me of him XD Plus he is cute :P

  • In the original novel, it was translated into English as the FEAST of Fools. It's meant as a satire of the FEAST days that certain saints have. Obviously, those days were not for eating the saints, but to celebrate them. It's the same deal here. Any cannibalistic undertones are imagined, and mean missing the point all-together. Off-topic: I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE this show! (and Gringoire's pants and hair)

  • the title is the feast of fools i think...

  • it's called feast of fools. DUH! LOL! JK but that is the title.

  • @EmilyGreene yep! But the translation he has put on this video is "feast". I don't think this song should have the cannabalistic undertones that the song implies by saying feast of fools lol :o)

  • Fete can mean feast, but I'm gonna go on a limb and say they mean fete as in party. (especially since they are homeless, paperless vagabonds outside of Paris and they are not cannibals). Someone may have posted this below but I'm not going through 7 pages of comments to find out.

  • @coxdianam It does mean feast, but it also is meant as celebration - kind of like a Mardi Gras :)

  • It is "La fête des fous"

  • I love Bruno's little hand thing like he's directing the whole thing. Then they all start to follow him. And that smirk he gets at 0:58 makes me melt every time.

  • 0:33 ' move So SIIICK LOL

  • @merryaay Omg exactly what i was thinking! I was trying to repeat it at home...not even close...lol Bruno is the sex! ^__^

  • Name of music is : La fête des fous

  • la fête des fous

  • it's his name ! La fete des fous

  • in Quebec. original cast. written/created by Luc Plamondon.

  • Everybody saying fête is festival, not feast, you're right. But the English name for the holiday is indeed The Feast of Fools, the translation is correct

  • LE TITRE EST : " LA FÊTE DES FOUS "

THE TITLE IS : " LA FÊTE DES FOUS " voila :)

  • s'apelle la "fete des fouls"

  • does anybody know where and when was this performance? somewhere in France? Canada?

  • @dontgivafuckkk I think it was in Canada, Montreal to be exact and this cast was the first one between september 1998 and 2000

  • The French title is also "La Fête des Fous".

  • that was a cruel game, I really hate the people in this part of the story

    poor Quasimodo :(

  • That happens to be its title too so it was smart to call it that

  • the title is le fete des fous

  • By the way.... It those have a Title... It's Called "La Fête des fous" (Original Quebec Version ^^) Or in English, The feast of Fools... Haven't you seen how much time they repeat it in the song ?? oO

  • ok everyone needs to stop freaking out about the name and translation. so the video poster made a mistake, it does have a name, so what, calm down! and the translations at the bottom of the screen are the english subtitles when you play the DVD.

  • He sexy...so so sexy, like fabio sexy. Every song (so far) is so powerful and full of passion, i'm suprised the actors aren't passing out on stage!

  • It looks like the company in Notre Dame de Paris are only dancers. Does anyone know who, apart from the main characters, is singing in this play? The company/choir pieces?

Please, don't tell me it is recorded...??

  • La fete de fous

  • I love Quasi face here he looks so happy and cute.and that esmeralda is bieng a b..... to him, as in throwing that confetti thing with no smile. she could have at least smiled

  • Who put those translations on there? Feast?! its party!

  • La fete des fous veut dire en anglais : The party of fools" et pas : "the feast of fools"

  • OMG le festin des fous loll.. Tellement une mauvaise traduction.

  • oui, la fete des fous..."the feast of fools"

  • Lmao Esmeralda is like ''Man -_- this suck... yeah yeah you won... yoopee ¬¬...'' *Throw confettis* ''Gratz, cya in another life looser ¬¬''

  • La fete des fous

we watched the musical in French class, and we have all the songs by name, and the lyrics.

  • @holdmetight123

We did the exact same thing for French Class with translations.

We had to skip Le Val D'amour because our teacher thought it was not appropriate XD

It got me addicted to the whole musical.

  • I loved the musical... my teacher just laughed at the Val d'Amour... she let us watch the entire thing (lol)
