  • you rock!! totally!

  • guitar sounds good but idk why you gotta play through a first act amp, thats what it basically sounds like.

  • Man or woman?

  • @tmoodyband no seriously...what are you?

  • please can I have lessons?

  • Wow that was cool ,I dig your style man.keep on rockin!

  • That's some mighty fking guitar skills.

  • nice.

  • Fucking sweet!!!!

  • Man, you rock! :D

  • i like how he puts leg into it. lulz

  • I have been wanting to do a metal band based around stuff like this. John 5 does a lot of stuff like this too. I give you 1 star for badassery and 1 star for the bluegrass style and 3 stars just cause that shits awsome. 5/5

  • ya know...

a whammy bar would be better than using the tuning knob

  • Killer chops and a killer pickup sound as well!! Did you install 500K pots for the volume and tone controls, because the Hot Rails sounds so clear, yet crunchy? A lot of people bag on the Hot Rails, but they do not realize you have to put 500K pots, when you do the installation!! If you leave the stock 250K pots in the pickguard, they get really "Woofy", and will not clean up as you back off on the volume!! How are they for "Power Chording", Riffs, and Harmonics? Thanks again and "Killer Chops"!!

  • Insanely annoying, but epic nonetheless

  • Love it!

  • what scale???

  • This is great.

  • John 5 much?

  • The notes are pretty clear. Well done.

  • now play a tune

  • @tmoodyband hell yea

  • Awesome playing but that fender is really holding you back. I know, I have one.... but yea you should invest in a vintage Gibson with that skill

  • @wasup23tube Love Gibson's they are just so much dog gone money. Thanks!

    T.

  • Looking at Marshall amps. There is a X next to the model number. What is that?

  • what do you mean, amps like the 1987x plexi and stuff like that?

  • @chrismortloch92 I guess. Could be a indicator of being a reissue.

  • yeah thats pretty much it

  • @PrsFenderJackson1980

Not real sure what that X means... Goggle it :-)

  • mayleen & the sons of disaster?

  • lol john 5 + shawn michaels = this guy

    T.

    Killer playing man.

  • OMFG YES!!!!

  • I wanted to get hot rails! Thank you so much for making this video. I couldn't find any good video showing how good to hot rails sounded.

  • that was insane man!!!!!!!!!! incredable!

  • Steve Morse owwns. This is good though. I like the JP country shredding vid. The riff at the end makes me giggle... in a manly guitar sort of way...

  • if you ppl like this check out steve morse, he plays with the dixie dregs

  • Steve Morse is a balls to the wall player!

  • HOly crap lol I would fail that on guitar no way in hell i can do that

  • lol, no wammy no problem! just try to rip the strings off your guitar right above the nut! ive done worse, bent the neck to get some whammy form one of my cheaper axes

  • Guess you like John5 then!

  • Yeah...he really is in the top 5% of all guitar players!

  • Bluegrass is some of the hardest shit to play.

  • @chernobleman As is metal. Which is what makes this crazy

  • fuck yeaa

  • Nothing like playing Bluegrass on an electric, righteous job man. :D

  • PIMP

  • that kicked ass man!

  • that was kick ass ;)

  • well done! keep on rocking!

  • 25 seconds on sounds like a John 5 song. cant remember which one, am i right? :) nice work ^_^

  • yeah :P

  • Sugar Foot Rag, but John5 is actually covering an old bluegrass hit.

  • Yeah I can tell you like buckethead.

The part where you start bluegrassin', It sounds like Hog Bitch Stomp.

    :D

  • its quite amazing but would be better in higher sound quality

  • OMFG total pwnage U ROCK! :D

  • what is that you do on :23-:24?

  • its a kill switch.. kills all output of the guitar with a simple push button. used by unique shreeders like buckethead

  • thats the guitar i wanted but it only had 21 frets and i need 22

  • you got skills!

  • dont give it often but kudos

  • KILLER

    6/5

  • Nice! Can you do that with Flamenco too? Or Gypsy Jazz? 'Cause then I'd say, you're on your way to the top. This snippet isn't enough to judge your abilities in the shred meets melodicism meets passion meets phrasing area of course, hell it's too short to convince me you have a repertoire (although if you improvised it you probably can obviously write this type of stuff), but it shows enough to tell me you have talent and skill. Bring us more!

  • HELLS YEA!!! awsome

  • that was pretty sick \m/

  • THAT IS INSANE!!!!!!!!!!

  • i give that 5 stars

  • fuckin' awesome dude

and i agree, seymour duncan= best pickups

    5/5

  • Heh, that fucking owned. Best vid i have seen for a while, good show.. 5

  • that bitch is fierce!~

  • at :06 seconds it kinda sounded like the begginging of hog bitch stomp by buckethead.

    very well done!

  • amazing

  • cool! how is that pickup? I might get one...

  • Seymour Duncan Hot Rail. The best pickup on the planet for a strat. Now I just need Seymour to sponsor me for that plug and life will make perfect sense. :)

    TMoody,com

  • Great job

  • more please

  • Mind if I get the tabs for that?! That's awesome man, great job.

  • Man I have no idea what I am really playing much less trying to tab it out. I was just kinda of going for it. Thanks for digging it though.

    T.

  • Umm... no. It was shot with a digital camera by my 9 year old son. All natural baby... no tricks here except with the hands :-)

  • sorry for been so incredulous, but the movement of your head hands not seem natural, its like a robotic kind of movement, would you be so gentil to upload an other video to make thinks clear up :c

  • I love rad guitar!

  • great stuff man!!

  • yaaa good job

  • that was pretty cool, by the way, did you use a killswitch or rewire the knobs to the pickups so that you can use the pickup selector to do the same thing.

  • It's Gary Moore's cousin from Alabama! Cool!

  • metete el deo en el oyo

  • that is soo fucking awesome =D

  • hah hah that was sweet but hey ailbubble dude the part at :23 is easy on my guitar you just unplug and plug backing your amp really fast hehe but thats all i do i make good shit too hah hah

  • you just risk blowing your amp if it's a tube amp

  • whoh! that was great what you did there at 00:23!

  • Simple. Strats have a 0-10 volume knob. simply put your pinky on that and rotate it fast enough from anywhere around normal volume down to 0.. voila, sound "disappears and reappears" couple times per second! Quite basic trick.

  • or, what i did was get a 2-way switch (v.cheap) and install it between the input and the pickups. leave one terminal unconnected (thats your kill setting) but the bad news is that you have to make a hole in your guitar but under the pickguard so nothing is obvious!

  • yea you can just look close

  • Dude, youre tottttttttttaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllly frick yeah right!!!!!!!

  • John 5 does a lot of this type of bluegrass style....check out his version of sugarfoot rag...

  • i think hes got more of a bucket head influence than john 5 ha

  • he?

  • my thoughts exactly

  • hold on i thought it was a girl. but looks like a guy

  • "it's not metal"...oh well. who gives a crap. it rocked.

  • definitely not metal what so ever....but nice style you got there....keep it up....maybe you will become pro like some people? keep goin man, you got talent.....

  • Cool? Yes!

    Metal? No!

  • yessss!! lol rippped

  • is this metal???...

  • bad

  • a bet "Hog bitch stomp" had alot of influence on that solo

  • yaaa go rednecks

  • referring probably to the distortion. But i agree, it isn't metal. a better title probably: "Bluegrass + Dist = Awesome"

  • yeah it's not metal in the least. it's ok. but not nearly metal.

  • awesome

  • Awesome. Reminds me of 'Hog Bitch Stomp' by Buckethead. If you like that stuff, look it up. Its excellent.

  • LOL

    HA HA HA

    LOL

Since now Bluegrass was some funy melodic joke on banjo and funny guitars, but that kicked my ass!

    Great! ;)

  • Really Good Man!
