Technically it was optimized to play on the hardrive not on blu-ray which is bascally used as storage when it comes to games which is proven whenever you put a new game in your ps3 and Unreal engine was made for the Ps3 also even though the devs said that it couldnt happen as shown in UT3 so just because they say it won't work or look as good doesn't mean its true

the 360 cant support killzone 2 in the ps3 details, so the graphics would need to be downgraded. i think the HD capacity has something to do with it too.

its not that, the engine of gears of war is the unreal engine 3, made for PC.

its really a question of hardware, and optimization. like killzone 2 was optimized to be played on blu-ray too.
