I was having the same problem with the glide not working, but I found out why. The default preset for Massive voicing is "polyphonic". The video doesn't mention that you should change the voicing to "monophonic". Great video nonetheless!

Is massive a built in live device man???? What version of ableton are you using?????

@10908070605040302 Massive is a VST/AU instrument, you buy it from native instruments, install it and you have massive in your instruments library. So yeah, it's an extra program that you intergrate into the DAW you are using.

@danamal325 Yeah, click on the Time knob, then go to the top left of Massive and there will be a drop down arrow. Click it and go to "Browse parameters". This will open up the menu of all the parameters in the sidebar. Simply go to "GLIDE TIME" (should already be selected because it selects the last parameter you changed; that's why I told you to click the Time knob first), right click and "Create automation clip". Bam! Automate to your heart's content. :)

@diggiedawg30 Check the section right under the voicing section titled "Trigger" - turning it onto "Always" means that it will bend from the note to the next note. Having "legato" selected means it will only bend to the next note when the notes overlap, "legato triller" means you can hold a note (like A for example) and press C, it will bend up to C, and when you let go of C it will bend back to A (if you're still holding A) - try it out! Hope that makes sense!

@z3bigmonst3r just had a look through this to make sure that I didn't miss anything. All I can suggest is that make sure that you are automating the glide time and nothing else.

@z3bigmonst3r nice sound but the glide desn't work. I reccomend an analog synthetiser( Sylenth 1 for instance) Use 2 square wave oscilators on higher octaves and just oscilate their pitch( lfo ). Use in the Amp envelope Attack 0, full Sustain and Decay and about 25% Release . Detune the oscilators and add some portamento. That's a simple dutch house lead. If you want more you can route the pitch from one of the oscilators into a modulator and then mess around with the modulator's sustain
