@thevillain091 ******not sure what you are trying to say ******* doesn't make sense ! ! ! ! but glad to see you are against the slavery that still exists in northweast africa !
OMG this tour guide is awesome. He was our tour guide July 31, 2011. My heart broke as he spoke about the treatment of the women and men by the white people.
Hey I met this man this week in Ghana he did our touron wednesday! Dear tour guide, if you are reading this, thank you for your informative tour of Elmina castle. it deeply impacted me. God bless you (Roseanne from the UK)
@zjones,U've no sense ofGuilt norSympathy!Nobody blames U for the sins of ur ancestors! In factU happen to have common ancestors with these CoastalAfricans!Ur forefathers code of silence!Living rough without a wife&reaping the harvest to enrich theirWhite descendants! What pisses the Africans off is ur continuous racism up till now!U wonder why Nigerian couples are popping blond blue eyes babies&yet nobody acknowledges the truth! Africans ashamed of RapistWhite ancestors&theEuropeans hiding guilt!
I do not understand how can DEMONS..true worshipers of Satan serve GOD while GOD IS LOVE? Kidnapping children, raping women, tourturing men is being CHRISTIAN? Not even speaking of the slaves that survive the turture that where trown in the Atlantic Ocean from small boats on their way to America bcs of bad nutition nd unhuman condition nd the CLAIM THEIR CHRISTIANS? Christiany my ASSS>>
Cont. Damn you Ghana for making us all look so much more dumb in repeating the brain washing you might as well say yeah it happen so who cares this is the result and build take a look for yourself nice building huh.
Cont. Why should I make an excuse for Africans involvement in slavery when there just as guilty as anyone else? Whites by far are the victors in using other people now Africans are used to the fullest by explaining away what happen to whites which already know. This is upsetting that blacks the world ove don't see pass the history that was told to us from the beginning and will vouch for this African man tell our history as descendants of slaves.
Cont. Do African people have emotions anymore I mean is the almight dollar so scarse in Africa where a slave post would be considered a museum for viewers to relive the passage? I just can't get my head around why they share information about slavery with white folks and have not reached out to those relatives that were sold into disporia. Money is the root of all evil and Africans are making the same charge again with giving in to the desire of white man.
Profiting still off the backs of slaves as if it was something that only the strong could do but what about all the other people that died. When I look at Africa now I think why are those people killing each other not all of them but in Sudan for example or why did they have civil war in Nigeria? My conclusion is that Africans have become complacent too in settleing for less because that museum he is talking about in this video is were people transported to death and taken away.
This is the reason why i dont believe in Christianity, how cansay your bringing christianity to a people and then sell them of as slaves because their sub-human to you
Where are the children's quarters? Those demons from Europe kidnapped children too. Why is it not in this clip or any of the short films similar to this?
Slavery continues to this day , there are more slaves alive today than were taken from Africa across the Atlantic during the 16th & 17th Century.. I was at the Castle on Saturday and attended a Slavery awareness in Geneva , Switzerland on Monday.
@gvatrevor Your statement is insensitive and ignorant the slave traders of the 16Th & 18Th centuries were rewarded with nighthoods, and other honours. Some slave owners became Presidents, some members of Parliament in England, and France, Netherlands none got prison. Unlike today in the 21st Century so your comparison makes no sense in the light of history, and the people who lived at that time. They are my sources not your personal ingnorance and insensitivity.
@Kalydosos .. What statement to you find to be inaccurate ... That there are more slaves alive today .. Please check with one of the many NGOs that operate in this field. ..It was to highlight the fact that even after all this time we still live in a world of slavery., maybe not where you live or work , but doesn't mean this doesn't exist. It's a rather high handed approach to think that you are the single source of information on this subject.
@gvatrevor If you would have read my statement properly you would have seen that I acknowledge slavery exists today. However, no past slaver got jail they got rewards and you choose to ignore this fact thats your business not mine. It is you who is trying to walk up the very slippery hill of moral high ground not me, all the privileges white people have today can be traced back. To the Barbarism done to Africans in the Carribean, Latin American & North America; sources? People living then.
@Kalydosos I'm sorry you feel I'm making the period of the mass slavery from Africa less significant , It was never my intention to make that comparison , but to make people aware that it's still exists in various forms.
The bible was a book that was created by King James and William Shakespear to deceive the people of what they should believe. The bible degrades women and condones slavery. The creator did not write that bible. that would only mean that God is evil if he did.

The bible teaches how to treat slaves
When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)
I went to Ghana last summer for three weeks. We went to the Elmina Slave castle and although it is extremely sad it is such a powerful experience. It truly changed my life forever. I hope that you do get to go and experience its power.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)
Don't look to the bible for moral guidance on slavery.

don't you know by now that white people don't believe in the Bible. they only use it if it serves their purpose.
