  • Excellent!

  • This is wonderful, thanks for sharing. I always wanted to learn more about Wayang Golek. I read part of a book by Andrew Weintraub once, and performed in a gamelan for many years. I never did get to perform for a dalang.

  • never ending inspirtion with wayang golek

  • what a wonderful world of arts ...

  • thank for vidio wayang golek, it vidio very fantastic

  • thank you for introducing the culture of Sunda (Indonesia) in the eyes of the world ...

I feel proud of you who are familiar with our culture ...

    Thank you very much

  • I like exotic puppets because they always depict stories of mystery, magic and fairy tales that you've never heard before.

... and sorry for the language, but Samar (o Samur?) is the most screwed up puppet character ever.. Loved it!

  • @Venexilio

It's Semar. He is one of the Punakawan, a distinctive character in the Indonesian wayang...

  • @Venexilio It's Semar. He's actually very "sakti" (a master of magical force). He looks ridiculous because he swallowed a mountain in a competition with his brother Togog, and Togog's mouth became so big. He is probably more sakti than any other characters in wayang world, but he and his 3 ridiculously shaped children: Gareng, Petruk and Bagong/Cepot/Astrajingga who are also very "sakti", provides comic relieve, usually at the middle of the show.

  • it is one of the traditional art of Sundanese..

  • Did she just imitate Ravana?
