too much wheel spin by the corolla, do a longer burnout in the start you'll get more grip, and at the lights try taking off at about 3k rpm then full throttle, see if that works

Chinese turbos are garbage, regardless of make, they are corner cutters; and that Evo was not close to "550hp" ... please just tell us the truth, or at least don't BS.
@eeeen321 was a no name chinese one. unfortunately they dont make them anymore since they differentiated them selves from other chinese turbos based on quality and thus cost more. that business plan did not work out for them.

only managed a 12.9 in that run. 12.3 was the other car. was running a t3/t4 chinese turbo rated to 550hp.

that evo is 357kw which is 478hp not 550hp.

didnt have any troubles building the motor. only really hard part was finding places to put stuff like oil lines and making the civic radiator fit.
