I do think that this is just a modified hummer. I think that it is a very capable vehicl and has been modified to serve a certain purpose. I agrre that Russians have been building good military vehicles for a long time now. I only wonder what the undercarriage is like. Todays urban battlefield poses many threats that have never been encountered before. IED's are a big threat today.

the russians have done what they always do, taken some blueprints and improved them and released their improved copy. americans have tuned-up versions of the hummer as well, but they are not used commonly, because there is no need to. saying that the TIGR is a great better machine that the hummer would be like taking a toyota supra, installing a better turbo on it, naming it DINGO and saying that the people who desing toyotas cannot do their work properly.

Kid,according to you Hummer is copy too? The suspension design(what makes Hummer unique) - existed 70 years ago on German 4x4's.

UAZ-469B had geared hubs 12 years before HUMMER.Tigr designed by GAZ that make APC's for over 45 years. If you know anything about miliary - even by looking at Tigr you can tell

that it has stronger components then HUMMER(I own one).
