We armenians know what the turks did to us. Why cant you turks just admit it? My Great GrandFather barely survived the genoiced, and fled to america. If he wasnt able to speak turkish, so they wouldnt realize he was armenian, he would be dead and i wouldnt be here..

there is no document because the government itself destroyed them. and you cannot say that 1.5million people have not died. not while i have family members telling me of how they escaped. of how the pregnant women had their babies killed before their were born. how children were shot and left for dead.

Americans wrote articles about the Genocide while it was taking place. the reason why the American Government was ignoring it was because Turkey has one thing America wants: oil. Today, a big reason why the American Gov't wont accept the Genocide is because they have have a military base in Turkey, and oil.

dude, Mustafa Kemal wasnt in power when the "genocide" happened. really, I would like to see if there is a solid evidence of the genocide. If there were, there wouldnt be any "deniers". Its very sad that you people have been brainwashed that something like that happened... Oh by the way, the Turkish government has invited every country that believes that such genocide happened, to come to Turkey and research with them if it really happened or not. Still no response. Himm... I wonder why?

We have been brainwashed? so all the stories...of how starved children were stabbed in the back, pregnant womens had their stomachs cut open, and watched as their infants died before they were born. denying this disgracing their death. and the perpratrator was mainly talaat pasha...and he seeked to cleanse Turkey and make it only for turks.

I suppose those stories were true. Bit a true historian would look a case from all points of view. Probably that murders were done by a group of fanatic Turks that were pissed off at Armenians because THEY'VE DONE THE SAME! And you cant really call that a genocide can you? And if Ottoman Empire wanted their country only for themselves they would kill the Greeks, Arabs etc. that lived in turkey.

uh...do you not realize how hypocriticle you sound? do YOU look at history from both sides? and the reason why it was a genocide was because the government planned it out. they kept it very secretive. the troops that were going to commit the acts were not even told until the day the genocide started, april 24th.

well, you don't seem to know much, too. Turks DID kill close to 300.000 Greeks, eliminated assyrians as a nation and didn't even spare kurds who were muslims. Unless they recognise all these crimes, modern turks are equally responsible and guilty.

What on earth are you talking about? What research program to be held in Turkey? Most IF NOT ALL archives and historical evidences such as letters telegrams, documents have been destroyed in Turkey in order to coverup all the mess. Who would be dumb enough to go and research in a country that is directing all its efforts to deny and eliminate any evidence that proves a Genocide
