  • i hated the commercial before the video started hehe...nice video

  • was this launched from a site in the uk..if so which site..the engine clearlyshowed problems on take off when the rocket changed attack angle within 500 ft suggesting a shift in the motors geometry..

  • why do we still use rocket still to into space didn't some guy fry his plane into space already.

  • @kayson4 yeah he "fryed his plane trying" hahahah idiot youtube loser

  • Lol, a failed summer experiment. Guess they're going back to the sketch board...

  • lmao @ c'mon while rocket is coming downward... and it'd be funniest thing if it propelled toward them.. lolz

  • wasn't it just looool 5ft feet from the ground pull up looool

  • LMAO @ British Engineering ;-)

  • @BipedalHumanoid you aint got a clue mate.they are only amateurs, you make a better one.

  • lol nice try

  • fuck that sucks, wish the parachutes deployed.

  • he starts yelling at it like that will make the parachute come out

  • fail rocket

  • haha opp xD

that's the name, opp means up in norwegian! :D

  • The rocket was launched from the same site as the Top Gear Space Shuttle. Go have a look at that. That crashed too.

  • lol yeah i think that location has a curse on it or sumthin haha

  • i was thinking the EXACT SAME thing. that launch site is jinxed

  • Because made by English. Should have been made in China. Britts only can legally conquere other lands, drink beer and tell others what to do. Bloody bureaucrats.

  • Did the lenses died?

  • at least they got hope for soemthing. if oyu dont beleive in god, well, you might just as well try to build your own rocket and get to space.

if there was a guy peeing in the bushes and, that would be tarrible to get that pointed rocket as a... vaccine on his buttocks... LOL

  • I love aerospace research, but I don't think launching a sun shield is the key. Sounds like avoiding the real problem to me. I think these are the same guys that made the reliant robin space shuttle on top gear, btw.

  • If you doing rocket glass claimed kill you Alorhabiy

    علي التميمي

  • Guys did you notice. The guy driving at start of the video is driving a HUMMER. What that about! He his taking about saving the earth and driving a low fuel efficient and high polluting vehicle at the same time. PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH BUDDY!!!.

  • Hummer H2 only looks good. check crash reports. they dont behave good in a crash. also wheels break off if you try to take it off road. its too heavy for its own good.

  • lol

  • So ... did the lenses brake?

  • omfg were there peeple in that rocket?

  • OMG what noobs omg 1. the guide rail was not strong enough at blast of the force of the engines starting moved the guide rail putting it off course in matter of seconds also it was to short, it needed to be longer so the rocket got to a speed where the air over the nose cone can keep it inside a pocket of air AKA for the airo dynamics to work.2.like yousifhela said by from fucking AMERICANS.3. get a fucking fail safe so you can deploy the parachute.OMG thats the 3rd lunch these guys have crashed

  • if the memory card which is supposed to be the most protected part could'nt take the damage its quite obvious that everything else is going to fail

  • ha ha..serves you right..we got people living under bridges and you spend your money of toys. Shame on you sir.

  • fight against global warming?let's see...

  • Comment removed

  • they never said if the lenses broke lol

  • that rocket looked unstable since the beginning, hope they improve it

  • come on come on come on

    guess what

    the rocket aint listening.

BUY AMERICAN ROCKETS! it will work trust me!

  • Looks more successful than the DPRK's missile test

  • ROFL This is why when you need a rocket, you buy American.

  • Ya... Those shitty working rockets that propel humans into space on a very consistent and reliable basis...

  • It's true americans also make the best spray on cheese

  • "real progress?"

  • I think its great how the retard keeps yelling "comon go!" after the rocket of fail is already in a free-fall nose-dive.

  • retards!!

  • Nice vid.

  • Fail. Epic failure.

  • They were yelling at it the whole time.

It got nevous because they put it under to much pressure.

    poor little rocket. :'(

  • like a giant dart

  • Is that the same place that top gear used when they made their reliant robin rocket that also failed???

If so then i think that the site is cursed!!!!!

  • this rocket might save us all? april fools? :-P

  • Good one :)

  • Thanks! I might be. It was putted out the 1. april :-P

  • Look for other OPP videos putted out the 1 April. All of the attempts are fails and errors. Haha and i see big discussions about the video in this comment box, i am laughing :D

  • yeah maybe a a joke from rocket makers.

  • big badaboom

    good luck next time :(

  • Once again [new] green energy ftw.

  • hmm......bummer

  • Hmm, I guess controlling an enormous explosion is kinda hard, huh?

It's a shame the data on those lenses couldn't be harvested.

  • A huge dart =D

  • why do rockets fail all the time... why dont they go with a design which the rocket doesnt fail and go with that design... like its mind blowingly stupid how they redesign rockets which if a 1% margin fail's it all fails... like its stupid like seriously stupid... they find a rocket that works and dont even produce it again and build newer ones that have the same margin of error but dont work,,, are we taking a step back with rockets or a step forward?! like its stupid

  • Well you try controlling a system where the basic design is a explosion over and over again happening in a controlled state. and controlling an explosion is hard, post your video of an actual Controlled explosion rocket that pierces the sky at a almost 100% rate

  • or maybe the rocket isn't the only sollution to get into space, their are plenty of ideas swirling around this planet alone but to think that maybe other ideas in our universe to send stuff into space at high speeds is like turning on a car for us that maybe we are looking in the wrong direction of how to get into space, combustion isnt the only answer to traveling on our planet

  • there will always be small errors in rockets...for example when u build your own remote control plane when u bring it out there u will find small error like centre gravity, electronic onboard, wind speed, radio signal interference, motor speed and battery.. these are the small errors on your small plane.. now imagine a bigger airplane every screws count every wire counts 3 km of wire onboard a big plane.. engine all engine parts...ect so apply all that and imagine a rocket that going to space.

  • its not that they dont want to eliminate those errors but its very hard to figure it out whats goes wrong. Inside an liquid fuel rocket engine its very complicated the mixture has to be right.. the engine temperature has good. The gyroscope has to function well during flight. They could make a 100 rockets and itll be 100 times failed.

  • than maybe rockets ain't the answer if they fail so often that ya rocket power is good but it has it effects like its very difficult to control and fail rate is so high that it is questionable why they still even use it

their was a rocket about a month ago that was sent into orbit to collect data on our atmosphere to questions like the cause of global warming if their is any

but the rocket failed and i asked me self... are these rockets blowing holes in our atmosphere?

  • lenses eh? what do they do, what are they for? why are they there? how is measuring the stress on some weird lenses going to help us? whats going on here

  • I think they think this might help us because:

If they get the right information from this project, they could use it to save citizens by sending them to the moon (if life is possible then to live there) when a huge war breaks out (WWIII). Or, when there's a nasa project, they could use the info to make sure that the rocket will fly according to their way because of the new information. I dunno, this is my guess

  • I still don't get why this is giong to help us :(

  • HAHAHA HELL YEAH!

  • wait i dont get it. stress on the lens's, im not sure if they were clear in what the lenses are for. im actually not sure what this rocket is for. please explain?

  • eh eh just like in top gear those guys cant get it right

  • it looks like the same place actually

  • I guess that why people use the term "rocket science".

  • fail rocket is fail.

    no progress was made.

  • What a waste of money. "Real progress was made from the experiment..." Ha!

  • I am NOT down with the OPP rocket.

  • every last homie is down with OPP rocket

  • How is this experiment is gonna help man kind?

  • big lawn dart

  • wow thats gotto really suck... all that money into a rocket that plumets to earth... lucky they didnt have people in it....

  • is this rocket just for testing lenses? decent use of money :)

  • i that better than if it would have worked

  • FAIL

  • That was cool :)

  • that was just a waste and stupid

  • what was the point of the experiment?

  • i dont even know its retarded

  • Hahaha its tax money at its use.

  • i dont think they are government founded.... and if they are... maybe thats the problem...

  • 2:45 lol, its that faggot from Dragons Den! LOL!

  • this IS rocket science

  • That sucks!

  • this rocket isn't gonna save anything

  • Fail :D

  • rocket fail

  • giant dart?

  • ┴

  • ¿¡p

  • haha comady in strange places

  • Chuckles

    The rocket is pointing down

And they are yelling "come on"

They may as well have continued yelling "come on" after the crash

  • the reason they were still yelling 'come on', is because they at least wanted it to separate to save the lenses and video systems

  • Lazureus

    I could be wrong

But the section split is altitude sensetive

So if it didn't separate before it came back down

    It wasn't going to

  • in the upper right hand corner it asks if you prefer the older setup or what ever, click on it and it will return to regular broadcast. all vids are doing it now, real pain in the BUTT

  • Dude, check the date.

  • what is it meant to do?

  • ....nice
