  • video would be better if you didn't say uhm all the time just saying

  • Thorough review. Your delivery is most excellent. Have subscribed. I have liked my hinged Asp due to their ability to lay flat on the rig with no case for quick access. Do you feel any of the NON-Asp hinged models would lay flat, as well? Cos that three hinged S&W looks like it doesn't have much gap to allow that.

  • I carry asp and peerless hinged cuffs! Love them both

  • I need to get a job at your department! Cuffs aren't cheap and you have all of those? What do they pay you?!? lol

  • Cool video. Do you prefer black or nickle / hinged or chained? Do you carry two cuff cases on your duty belt?

  • can anybody just buy handcuffs? they sell them at my local gun store.

  • What is the model of your hiatt-thompson cuffs?

  • Smith and wesson is what I carry. The American cuffs were what the mp's carried throughout the 90's

  • how much did all those cost

  • Cool

  • Cool

  • I have a few sets for backup. We may use them in sting operations where we'll be handing people off to other officers right away but as a general rule, no I do not use them. When we do we use either the monadock ones or the ASP tir-fold

  • yes i dont like the peerless model 700 becouse every time i get a pair it usually breaks in 3 months and plus there hard to break them in i like the asp rigid aluminum cuffs and bianchi patrol tek handcuffs cases fit alot of hinged chained and asp great video

  • Great video - thanks!

  • If they are not marked then they are the hinged cuffs produced before the Model 301. All models since the 300 series are specifically marked as M-300, M-400, M-500, etc.. BTW, nice video. I didn't realize the cheek plate bent so easily on the ASP. Also, I don't understand ASP's decision to put a keyhole on both sides of a hinged handcuff as it seems to sacrifice some security. Prefer the S&W Model 1 Hinged myself.

  • It may be 301. They're not marked, but I was told it was a 501....

  • @Uziman85 make a vid on ur duty belt

  • Do you really have a Peerless Model 501 Hinged Cuff? I was under the impression that the hinged series went from Model 301 to Model 801 (although there have been chain hancuffs whose models numbers have been 400, 500, and now 700).
