Yes I was about the same age as these kids in the 1970's but as a mix race kid so called "Coloured" i didn't have the privilage to enjoy Kings beach or the freedom to play as free as these kids. This all changed when my parents moved in the early 80's to Melbourne Australia where i could enjoy life to it's full potential.
It's good to see kids happy and yes they should all have fun...
Oh you made me cry seeing this video. I grew up in Humewood and spent many days in that playground. On that slide that ended in concrete. I always tell my little boy about that slide. We live in California and I loved seeing your video. Where were those houses....looks like Charlo

Gosh! Many good memories! Lived in Taybank in 1975 & was 12 years old! Now in England so this was great to see. Remember the smartie train? !!
