  • How about "A spinning washing machine" or a "Harley-Davidson rider" for things with a cycle :)

  • A washing machine is the perfect clue for "things with a cycle". A woman's menstration might be too along with it.

  • Did anyone ever win $10,000 in the second half of a tournament?

  • Not one $10,000 was won in the tournament in the Dick Clark era and on the John Davidson era.

  • I know that it happened 4 times during the Dick Clark Era. It came close once, with Lauri Hendler (Gimmie a Break) after she led Mary Moffet to the top of the Pyramid for the $100,000 win. The contestent won $750.I believe that there was a 21-21 tiebreaker before the $10,000 try.

  • Mary Monte. ;)

  • sorry, thanks for the correction

  • THINGS WITH A CYCLE and THINGS THAT ARE BLOCKED were tough in my honest opinion. Also note the 4th subject--that one was the one that gave Shatner the "ARRGH!" moment back in the 1970s.

  • Is that the same episode where Bill threw the chair out of the winner's circle?

  • Yep, from 1977. ;-)

  • Thankfully, no chairs were harmed in the filming of this episode. :p

  • I think a perfect clue for things that are blocked would have been a writer's mind.
