I guess that I can say that I'm in the minority here. I love every Maiden album, including this one. Blaze isn't Bruce, but Maiden made some good stuff with him. He was even pretty good live.
I always felt sorry for him. Everyone (myself included) was just waiting for Bruce to come back. I'm shocked that he did as well as he did under that kind of pressure.
Don't get me wrong, I love Bruce Dickinson. But my biggest pet peeve as far as music goes - even bigger than the stupid "Metallica vs. Megadeth" thing - is people who wanna talk shit about Blaze Bayley all the time for no good reason. "Oh, he's not as good as Bruce blah blah." Yeah. Nobody is. But Blaze is pretty goddamn close. And I don't know if you noticed, but Bruce kinda left Maiden there for a while, so Blaze was the best they could do. Shit.

I don't think Blaze is that bad of a vocalist overall, he just isn't fit for Iron Maiden, his vocal range isn't high enough. This doesn't mean that Iron Maiden is a lesser band, or that Blaze is a terrible vocalist, it means that I personally don't like him, and that doesn't make me any less of a true Maiden fan.

I'm gonna have to say No Prayer For the Dying is my least favorite album, even though I have not heard the two albums with Blaze, I'd rather spend my money on albums by other bands I know 100% I will enjoy. And Justice for All is considered by a shit load of people to be their best album,
Black Album sold a shit load and the same can be said for their following albums.
One,Harvester of Sorrow,Blackened,Sad But True,Dont Tread On Me,Of Wolf And Man,King Nothing,Outlaw Torn,Fuel,Some Kind of Monster,That Was Just Your Life and All Nightmare Long are easily as good as anything they did with Cliff.
I dont give a Fuck about them, and the Black Album wasn't even metal it was a corporate love ballad CD, GAGA sells a lot too, doesn't mean shes fucking Metal.

I consider myself a huge Iron Maiden fan and I honestly believe Blaze (in comparison to Diano and Bruce) was not cutout for this band. There are a few songs, such as this one, where he comes through as a good singer. However, he's really nothing compared to the other two. My opinion on Blaze doesn't make me stupid or any less of an Maiden fan, neither does preferring one album to another, etc. It's just opinion.
1. Could only sing certain styles of songs with very little variety. This limited the songwriting of Maiden and kept them from progressing (compare how different the peak albums are to the Blaze years).
2. Blaze could not sing the classic stuff live.
3. Blaze had vocal troubles all throughout his tenure both live and in the studio (listen to his voice crack on X factor and the fact they had to cancel both end legs of both tours).
I have a tape that sound a million times better than this lol.

@Alextheanarchist Worst in general sense doesn't mean it's a bad album. It only means, in the word's user's opinion, their least favorite. Think of it this way: You have your three favorite foods, say for example they are hamburgers, spaghetti and pie. If you ordered it like:
1. Spaghetti
2. Pie
3. Hamburgers
Hamburgers would be the worst of the bunch, but you still love it

I'm gonna have to say No Prayer For the Dying is my least favorite album, even though I have not heard the two albums with Blaze, I'd rather spend my money on albums by other bands I know 100% I will enjoy. Blaze will have to wait, especially with a new album right around the corner ;)

Black Album sold a shit load and the same can be said for their following albums.
One,Harvester of Sorrow,Blackened,Sad But True,Dont Tread On Me,Of Wolf And Man,King Nothing,Outlaw Torn,Fuel,Some Kind of Monster,That Was Just Your Life and All Nightmare Long are easily as good as anything they did with Cliff.

Nope theres some popular shit I live but The Unforgiven, Enter Sandman, Wherever I may Roam, Nothing else matters, and hell everything else on that album was not Metal that shit was contemporary pop rock fucking enchanting ballads and shit. It pretended to be metal the Same way Nickelback pretends to be a rock band.
But it was a good Rock album. .. it just wasnt metal, and everything AFTER that was Dog Shit, sorry but everyone knows it, Dog Shit.

Whoever says Blaze sucks is an idiot and not true fan.
Diano, Bruce and Blaze all sing in completely different styles and every album was made to fit their voices perfectly.

@Chester1004 No one is an idiot or "not true fan" for having a simple opinion. I consider myself a huge Iron Maiden fan and I honestly believe Blaze (in comparison to Diano and Bruce) was not cutout for this band. There are a few songs, such as this one, where he comes through as a good singer. However, he's really nothing compared to the other two. My opinion on Blaze doesn't make me stupid or any less of an Maiden fan, neither does preferring one album to another, etc. It's just opinion.

The problem with Blaze
1. Could only sing certain styles of songs with very little variety. This limited the songwriting of Maiden and kept them from progressing (compare how different the peak albums are to the Blaze years).
2. Blaze could not sing the classic stuff live.
3. Blaze had vocal troubles all throughout his tenure both live and in the studio (listen to his voice crack on X factor and the fact they had to cancel both end legs of both tours).
4. Too low key (energy)
